The Journey continues ---- Principles ---- There are Principles in life that we must obey to attain certain results. Without a principled Orientation we cannot achieve any outcome. Behind every principle is a promise as trees and green plants obey the principles of nature, even if concrete was on the ground, their obedience breaks the concrete and the tree is made whole. Therefore Life is not hard, obedience is hard. Amongst us here are footballers, doctors, Engineers, dancers, Athletes of races, writers, speakers, planners, managers, even hairdressers, we are born to different gifts and different strengths as you write exams, you sometimes tend to develop a phobia that stops you from experiencing academic success. This academic success can be achieved if only you are given the reasons of your gifts. The principles to academic success is studying. Why then do we study? Most of us are caught in this trauma of academic downfall, only because we've not been given enough reason to study! Do you know the football you are gifted with can be linked to your study life? The same way you play music or run or sing can relate to your study life through Principles alone. Therefore academic Success is not hard but obedience to study principles is hard. We all have gifts some outside the walls of academic enrichment. 🌟📚 Today, we wanted to acknowledge a few fantastic tutors in our program! They all share the compassion for learning and growing students' education. All are becoming excellent students striving for bright futures and developing to become independent learners. 🏫 𝙈𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙚𝙡𝙖 has been a tutor for E.R.E. for about a year and is inspired to create social change, foster social justice, and be a resource to individuals with emotional and academic difficulties. 👩🏫 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙚 started her career with acting and later switched to teaching. Dr. Pausch's lecture inspires her; she wants to be someone who "equips future generations with the knowledge to create meaning out of their lives is a worthy vacation." ✏️ 𝘼𝙙𝙖𝙢 has a master's degree which focuses on natural history. Tutoring has been a great joy for him, and he loves teaching young people important ideas. 🎓 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 strives to be a high school English teacher and hopes to be a college professor! The students push Grace to be better, more compassionate, and more empathetic. Grace hopes that "students learn as much from me as I do from them." ☀️ 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮-𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙚 enjoys continuously learning new things and teaching others and hopes to encourage students to look forward to learning in a fun and exciting way. 💫 𝙏𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 is a first-generation college student. Tenzing enjoys the experience of watching students grow. 𝘞𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘌.𝘙.𝘌. 𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘰𝘳? Responsibilities include commitment to a minimum of 1.5 hours/week, tutoring schedule & lesson notes, and utilizing tutoring best practices during every lesson. 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸! 🏊♂️ A Channel Swim for Educational Excellence: Supporting St. Olave's Grammar School 🏫 I'm excited to share a significant personal challenge. This summer, I will be undertaking my second swim across the English Channel, this time to raise funds for St. Olave's Grammar School. Last year, I was privileged to complete this demanding 21-mile swim with my team, raising £1,100 for Mencap. You can read my blog here - https://lnkd.in/eEZQca6v . The experience was transformative, teaching me the power of community support and personal determination. Now, I'm channeling that energy into contributing to the institution that has shaped my academic journey. St. Olave's is renowned for its academic excellence and robust programs. However, in the spirit of continuous improvement, we're always seeking to enhance our areas even more such as upgrading classrooms with cutting-edge technology, expanding our library's digital and physical resources & improving our sporting facilities, including state-of-the-art cricket nets These enhancements aim to provide our students with even more opportunities to excel, discover their passions, and prepare for future challenges. The Channel swim is a formidable challenge. The water is bone-chillingly cold, currents are unpredictable, and the sheer distance is daunting. However, I draw inspiration from the dedication I witness daily in our classrooms. If our students can show such perseverance and determination in their studies, I'm motivated to match that commitment in the water. This endeavor is not just about my swim; it's about our collective ability to foster an environment of excellence. Every stroke I take in the Channel will be powered by the support of our community.
