On #WorldEnvironmentDay, we want to reaffirm our commitment to leveraging our structured #decarbonizationstrategy to effectively tackle the #climatechange mitigation challenge. Through a clear methodological approach that includes calculating our carbon footprint, mapping relevant decarbonization levers and impacts, and engaging all internal stakeholders, we have made significant progress on our #roadmap. In 2023: โ Our Scope 1 emissions decreased by 10% from the 2021 base year, largely due to the energy efficiency measures implemented in all plants โ Our Scope 2 emissions decreased by 18% from the 2021 base year, thanks in part to the adoption of renewable energy sources for electricity in our plants in China and Mexico โ Our Scope 3 emissions decreased by 29% from the 2021 base year, influenced by the introduction of natural refrigerants, improvements in the GHG intensity of heating heat pumps, and a shift towards a different product mix As one of our founding values, sustainability fuels our every action and drives tangible achievements.
