Stuck in loop of... "Experience ke liye Job chahiye, Job ke liye Experience chahiye." In recent years, the issue of unemployment among freshers and the scarcity of meaningful internships have become pressing concerns for Indian youth. 🌱 As a nation with one of the largest youth populations in the world, India faces a unique challenge. Fresh graduates, equipped with degrees and dreams, often find themselves at crossroads, struggling to secure their first job. Simultaneously, the lack of quality internship opportunities deprives students of the hands-on experience and industry exposure crucial for their professional growth. 📊 Statistics reveal a stark reality: • Nearly 50% of fresh graduates in India remain unemployed. • Only a small fraction of students secure internships that genuinely contribute to their skillset and career prospects. 🔑 Addressing these challenges requires a multi-faceted approach: • Educational Institutions: Integrate practical training and industry projects within the curriculum to ensure students are job-ready. • Corporates: Offer structured internship programs with mentorship and learning opportunities, treating interns as potential future employees. • Government Initiatives: Implement policies that encourage internship opportunities and support startups that can provide such experiences. • Youth Empowerment: Encourage students to seek internships actively, engage in online courses, and participate in workshops to enhance their skills. 💡 Together, we can make a difference. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and practical exposure, we can equip our youth to navigate the competitive job market confidently. Let's commit to creating more opportunities and paving the way for a brighter future for our young minds. 🌟 #Internships #Unemployment #Freshers #IndianYouth #CareerGrowth #SkillDevelopment #FutureLeaders

I'm glad to share the good news tomorrow morning regarding one of the best Management College in #India which my HR team has hired the best 50 interns to work in #Dubai & #Singapore..🧡👏👏👏👏 This should be a lesson to all the colleges, educational institutions and universities in India that they need to hire the right #TPO professional in their institution 1) #TPO should knows how to respect someone's time , should be polite, should learn to be humble without any ego nor attitude !! 2) #TPOs ...Please stop sending e-mails along with price list like a restaurant #menu card type emails to us employers and interviewers by mentioning the LPA salary stipend expected and drawn by your intern students who are hired by MNC's ...... it looks seriously too low grade #unprofessional of sending such weird emails !! #TPOs should learn the art of sending official emails in a professional manner !!🙏 3) Please stop asking questions what's the stipend amount before the intern students give the interviews ... How would an interviewer know the quality of your intern students without interviewing them ??? #Interns #Internship #Stipend

Great to see the government taking a step in the right direction with the internship scheme. While the details need to be worked out, Talerang and Raina Education Foundation are excited to be involved as we solve India’s employability crisis. Some questions they answered quite well! First and foremost, why top 500 companies? And how will they be shortlisted? It’ll be by CSR spend. As the costs for appointment of a nodal officer, team and managing 4000 interns on average, will be a task. Perhaps those with the maximum CSR spends and highest profits will be best suited to lead by example on this task. Second, how will these companies create so many internships? They can pull in their suppliers, vendors and “others” as mentioned in the scheme to partner with them. Third, why 21-24 as the age range? Because if these youth haven’t found anything yet, and are willing to work for 5000/month, they probably are really low skill and unemployable. There’s apprenticeship and other schemes for college students and those are 18-35 who have some basic understanding of the job market. This is to make sure graduates get a foot in the door and some exposure. It’s a very focused scheme only on this segment for now. My take? Nothing is perfect. Instead of poking holes in the scheme, let’s try to work together to make India employable. #Talerang #GetWorkReady #SkillIndia #government

Internships play a crucial role in India for several reasons: 1. Skill development: Internships provide students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in their field of study or interest. This allows them to develop and hone their skills in a real-world setting, making them more competitive in the job market. 2. Industry exposure: Internships expose individuals to the realities of various industries, helping them gain insight into different career paths and roles. This exposure can help students make informed decisions about their future careers and identify areas of interest. 3. Networking opportunities: Internships offer the chance to build professional networks by interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and industry professionals. These connections can be valuable for future job opportunities, mentorship, and professional development. 4. Resume building: Having internship experience on a resume demonstrates to employers that an individual has practical skills, relevant industry knowledge, and a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development. This can significantly enhance their employability and increase their chances of landing a job after graduation. 5. Transition to the workforce: Internships serve as a bridge between academic studies and the professional world, helping individuals transition from student life to the workforce. They provide valuable exposure to workplace norms, expectations, and culture, preparing interns for the demands of full-time employment. 6. Potential for job offers: Many companies use internships as a recruitment tool, offering full-time employment opportunities to high-performing interns upon completion of their internship. Securing a job offer through an internship can jumpstart a career and provide a sense of stability and direction for young professionals. Overall, internships play a vital role in the career development of individuals in India, offering them valuable learning experiences, networking opportunities, and a pathway to future employment success.

HR Intern @ eSpark Talent | Ready to Apply Academic Knowledge in Real-World Settings | Aspiring Individual Eager to Leverage Skills in Recruitment, Payroll, and Organizational Development to Drive Success.
I recently came across a job post from a reputed company searching for Human Resources Interns with 2-3 years of experience. That post got me thinking about the essence of internships and entry-level opportunities. In my experience, internships serve as invaluable learning experiences for fresh graduates and aspiring professionals. They provide an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, gain hands-on experience, and refine skills under the guidance of seasoned mentors. However, requiring 2-3 years of experience for an internship seems counterintuitive. Internships should be accessible to those who are eager to learn, grow, and kick-start their careers in HR. By demanding such a level of experience, companies risk excluding talented individuals who may not have had the opportunity to accumulate years of professional experience yet possess the passion and potential to excel in the field. As someone deeply invested in nurturing talent and fostering growth, I believe in the power of providing opportunities to freshers. By hiring interns with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, organizations not only enrich their talent pool but also cultivate a culture of innovation and inclusivity. To all the companies out there: let's reconsider our approach to internships. Let's open doors to freshers, empower them with the tools and guidance they need to succeed, and watch them thrive as they contribute their unique perspectives and talents to our teams. #Internships #Opportunity #FreshersWelcome #HR #CareerDevelopment

Its an infinity loop. 🔁 - Experience for job - Job for experience I encountered the common challenge of needing experience to get a job and needing a job to gain experience. It's perplexing to see job descriptions needing 0-2 years of experience while not being open to hiring fresh graduates. What is Wrong with the Hiring Industry? Where should I get the experience from? Internships? Internships are often unpaid or low-paid and are sometimes the only way to gain experience, which can be financially unsustainable for many candidates. Companies should consider the potential and enthusiasm of fresh graduates, provide better support through paid internships, and create pathways that allow new talent to gain experience without the financial burden. #graduate #entrylevel #jobsearch
