Finally, our research paper, "Self-Healable Sandfish Scale-Inspired Scalable Triboelectric Layer for Hybrid Energy Harvesting in Desert Environments," has been published in Small (Impact Factor: 13). Our research introduces a triboelectric layer, incorporating self-healing properties derived from the structural design of sandfish scales, specifically engineered for energy harvesting in extreme desert environments. This study details the development of a self-healing triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) layer designed to mitigate the effects of dust accumulation on solar cells, thereby enhancing their operational efficiency and durability in harsh desert conditions. Key contributions include: 1. Bio-Inspired Design: Mimics the self-healing abilities of sandfish scales. 2. Scalable Technology: Suitable for both small and large-scale applications. 3. Hybrid Energy Harvesting: Efficiently captures both kinetic and solar energy. 4. Enhanced Durability: Engineered to withstand harsh desert environments. Wind and solar integration in urban building construction is currently limited in Africa, but it presents a promising future for Nigeria in the near future. As the country continues to grow and urbanize, there is a growing need for sustainable and renewable energy sources to power buildings and communities. Integrating wind and solar energy into urban building construction can help reduce reliance on fossil fuels, decrease carbon emissions, and promote energy efficiency.

According to the World Economic Forum, manufacturing accounts for nearly 40% of worldwide energy consumption and contributes to more than 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions. He will also discuss TREE Technology's 24-hour demand forecasting model, which is adaptable to various scales based on data availability. Bernard Paule, ESTIA, will talk about the need for efficient building renovation solutions in response to climate change and energy constraints, highlighting the development of a 'Building Renovation Roadmap' to guide decision-making, prioritize refurbishment actions, and promote innovative solutions and the use of renewable energy in building renovations.
