Look forward to it. With effective reduction in funding will things stagnate till after next election? I was at PCN plus event in Nottingham. Even I retired from practice 3.5 years ago it was like ground hog day. Still The key is "Relationships"!, trust (or lack of it). Lot of focus on contracts finance, leadership, teams. What was missing- was discussion on mission vision purpose. Unifying effort behind this agreed strategy with all. Population health was mentioned twice by audience member in a question. Who is doing something really different? Who is focusing on patient outcomes and satisfaction? If you get this right you could reduce demand significantly (and improve profitability). Are there solutions out there that can do more within same financial envelope with improved outcomes, reduce demand, great patient feedback, superb engagement using simple science we learned as medical students? Though it takes time to build rapport and create trust, ultimately it's all about the patients we serve.
