On building well, and for longevity: De-emphasize Events; emphasize Moments. Event-driven efforts require a lot of resources and activity for the upcoming event. While these can be great for driving a narrative or agenda, they often fall short in what they actually produce. Moment-driven efforts require prioritizing conversations - and recognizing that we do not know which conversation is going to deliver. Paradoxically, none of them do, yet each of them will. Prioritize Moments. This will put the events in proper perspective as well, important, but only in that it proliferates potential conversations. Disagree? Agree?
