No more fussing with figuring out what type of documents our clients prefer. And since clients and employees have access to the final fully-signed document, there are no follow-up emails. iiProjectPortfolio: The Valdez Museum and Historical Archive The Valdez Museum and Historical Archive (VMHA), with support from the City of Valdez, is planning a significant expansion. VMHA will merge their two existing collections into a larger, modernized, centrally located space. Information Insights worked with the Museum and City to support VMHA in meaningfully engaging with the community on the museum concept, and provide fundraising support through major donor development and grant writing. Looking for some inspiration for your working world? We’re sharing the tools and resources we love! Today’s #TuesdayTool: Microsoft Snip & Sketch What is it? This handy little tool allows for easy screen capture of only the portion of your screen that you want to turn into an image (like "print screen" but more precise). It also enables minor editing of an image. What we use it for: We like to use this for creating how-to docs where having screenshots is useful and the Sketch feature allows us to add text or graphics to highlight information in the Snip. It also comes in handy when sharing a computer or software error message or other information with our IT contractor. This feature can also be set to automatically open when the "print screen" button on the keyboard is pressed (under Settings-->Accessibility-->Keyboard). Why we love it: It enables us to quickly communicate with an image so we are all seeing the same thing, whether for a tutorial or for tech support.
