Most of the time when client comes to us and says that they want to outsource something or they want to do sourcing in some way they themselves are not aware of as to what they actually want to achieve. So there is a lot of conversation, a lot of discussion, a lot of the unsaid ask that they have. So typically what I end up doing is for first one week I end up talking to a lot of people sort of interview, not really interview, but end up talking to a lot of people and then gather their thoughts, gather what challenges that they are facing in their daily routine, and then sort of play it back to them and say, Do you guys believe what I understood is correct? Typically, I would say it starts with delivery challenges. It starts with business case challenges, and it starts with how do we doing the right thing? Is the provider with which we are working. Is it good enough? Are we missing out something which we don't know? I would say that's pretty much. And then it opens up, you know, then we get to know what's happening and then you know, we start working on that

Moving Beyond Cookie-Cutter Procurement Strategies: When collaborating with our clients, a frequently asked question revolves around the extent to which we should standardize our procurement processes. In procurement, while certain processes may be standardized for efficiency and consistency, a purely "cookie-cutter strategy" might not be the most effective due to the varying nature of procurement needs across industries, organizations, and projects. Instead, a balanced approach that combines standardization with flexibility is often more beneficial. This necessitates the development of comprehensive procurement frameworks that offer flexibility in supplier evaluations, risk management strategies, negotiation tactics, and compliance measures. Also our processes should be tailored to consider industry regulations, specific stakeholder demands, and the capabilities of suppliers. Relying solely on standardization cannot adequately address the intricacies and variations inherent in procurement, leading to suboptimal results, missed opportunities, and operational setbacks.
