New Case Study: Navigating Development with the BC Zero Carbon Step Code ZEBx partnered with Chard Development Ltd., RDH Building Science, and BC Hydro to produce this case study that provides guidance to developers on how to meet the upper steps of both the Energy and Zero Carbon Step Codes through different mechanical and enclosure approaches. Lessons were drawn from Chard's early-stage design and modelling phase of a large multi-family project in BC. Nested within this case study is a financial analysis tool, created for developers to better assess the capital and operational cost implications of various combinations of mechanical and enclosure systems.
