Three reasons why hiring a cheap iOS developer will cost more money in the long runPoor Quality Code:Apple has a recommended approach to structuring and writing code for programming good quality iOS apps.Low-cost developers may lack this experience and skills, leading to poorly architected and written code. This can result in frequent bugs, crashes, and performance issues, which require additional time and money to fixLack of Proper Testing:Testing code in your iOS app responsible for conversion experiences such as a Sign-up reduces business cost in the long run.Budget developers often cut corners on testing such code to save time and reduce costs. Insufficient testing can lead to undetected issues that surface later, causing user dissatisfaction, and costly post-release fixes.App Scalability:Building an app that scales(i.e has little to no errors as it grows in size in terms of users and/or features) requires adopting evolvable architectural patterns and principles such as KISS(keep it simple, stupid)To meet a low budget, developers might deliver a complex minimal viable product with poor scalability. As your app scales, you might face significant redevelopment costs due to the obscure code and high dependency in your app.

I totally agree with it. Customers want Flutter or React Native, and it looks like Flutter/React Native are good enough for their needs. The difference between native and non-native is not noticeable for users. A native app is good for tvOS, watchOS apps, and apps that use ARKit or Metal, but the percentage of these applications is so low. We can create a module with that functionality that can be easily imported into Flutter/React Native.
Somebody explain this to me like I'm five: A little over a year ago I was trying hire iOS developers, and it was really hard - anybody decent would get snapped up in about 48 hours. Now, I see Senior IOS developer jobs with 700 applicants. Did the world just stop making iOS applications? Or did everybody learn the hell out of SwiftUI during the pandemic and now it's super common? I'm starting to think I should jump ship here and learn something new. To make this post a little more interesting, here's the "Rewrite with AI" version of my post... --- Are you feeling like the world of iOS development has turned upside down? One LinkedIn user shared their experience of trying to hire iOS developers a little over a year ago and how difficult it was to find anyone decent. Fast forward to today, and they are seeing Senior iOS developer jobs with 700 applicants. So, what happened? Did the world stop making iOS applications, or did everyone learn SwiftUI during the pandemic? It seems like the latter might be the case. If you're in the same boat, maybe it's time to learn something new and stay ahead of the curve. --- Edit: I, too, am looking for work. I am not hiring iOS developers. Please save your inmails, my friends.
