When you research a certain topic it can usually be quite hard to begin because you don't know the context. In this new tutorial (see the first comment to this post), I explain how it can be done using a combination of different tools: InfraNodus for data import and visualization, Obsidian for storage, and ChatGPT for ideation. The main approach is to first build a map of related concepts and their connections, so I understand the most prominent patterns in a discourse. Then I zoom into each topic and retrieve some specific ideas that I save into Obsidian to explore and develop them further using the new InfraNodus Obsidian graph view plugin. I will also sometimes switch to ChatGPT for inspiration, but always verify the results I get using the InfraNodus science database import tools.

Nowadays "Chat" or "Chaat" in Indian are getting popular. I would like to add more to this soup. Why just ChatGPT......let us do some shop talk about ChatDB! 🧢 ChatDB: The AI Database Assistant: This is a software that helps users query databases using natural language and visualizations. It allows you to ask questions about your data in plain English, even if you don't know SQL. If this is the ChatDB you're interested in, you could highlight its features like: Accessibility: Makes data accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise. 🧢Ease of use: Ask questions in plain English and get answers without writing complex SQL queries. Efficiency: Saves time and effort by streamlining data analysis. 🧢Visualizations: Creates insightful charts and graphs to understand your data better. 🧢ChatDB: MultiModal Knowledge Database: This platform stores and retrieves information from visually-rich documents like images and videos. It allows users to ask questions and get answers extracted from those documents. If this is what you're interested in, you could mention: Multimodal capabilities: Handles text, images, and videos seamlessly. 🧢Natural language querying: Ask questions in plain English and get relevant information. Knowledge extraction: Summarizes key information from complex documents. 🧢ChatDB research project: This project explores augmenting large language models (LLMs) with databases to improve their reasoning and memory capabilities. #chatdb #artificialintelligence Source: https://lnkd.in/eY49megM

ChatGPT API for RStudio! I use RStudio for most of my data analysis that I do for school, and occasionally will reference AIs for code help or ideas on how to fix a problem I'm having. Claude.ai is able to directly access and analyze smaller datasets as well. However, there is now a ChatGPT API package that can be used within RStudio, called "askgpt" capable of code generation, text summarization, and data exploration. install.packages("askgpt") library(askgpt) askgpt(prompt) It has three possible TRUE/FALSE arguments: chat (uses the askgpt API or just ChatGPT directly) progress (shows a little progress spinner to make you happy :) return_answer (returns the answer as an object as opposed to printing it on the screen) example: askgpt(prompt, chat = TRUE, progress = TRUE, return_answer = FALSE) This API does require your own API key, generated at https://lnkd.in/eye4Q_2A. Therefore it will have a significant monetary cost if used frequently, especially with large datasets. askgpt source: https://lnkd.in/eyeHAnha

Just finished the course “Excel and ChatGPT: Data Analysis Power Tips” by Chris Dutton! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/eQtJPqrA This course was an informative resource about leveraging ChatGPT as a tool, using Excel as an application for practice. Prompt Engineering, Role Playing, Trouble Shooting, Reverse Engineering, VBA Automation Scripting, and even Generating Sample Datasets. However, it was emphasized that AI outputs are still prone to Hallucinations, which is why there in no substitute for a well-rounded skill-set. Use it as an accelerant, and not a party-trick. #artificialintelligenceforbusiness #microsoftexcel #chatgpt #statisticaldataanalysis.
