🚀 Day 7 System Design & DSA Journey Update 🌐💻 Today's learning journey was packed with enriching insights into System Design concepts: 🔍 Relational Data Modeling: LinkedIn's User Profile Dived deep into relational data modeling by undertaking a low-level design exercise for LinkedIn's user profile. Understanding how data is structured and relationships are established is crucial for creating scalable and efficient systems. 💡 Case Study of "del.icio.us" - a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks created as a college project in 2003 and later acquired by Yahoo in 2005 Explored the principles of horizontal and vertical scaling by analyzing how the platform achieved scalability by distributing the workload horizontally across multiple servers and scaling vertically by upgrading existing servers. 🌐 Basics of Load Balancing: Gained insights into the fundamental concept of load balancing. Explored strategies for distributing incoming network traffic across multiple servers to ensure optimal resource utilization and prevent any single server from becoming a bottleneck. 🔄 Next Steps: Diving Back into DSA Tomorrow! After a deep dive into System Design concepts today, tomorrow marks a return to the realm of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
