Training brings changes in three domains/areas: Knowledge: Knowledge is what a person knows information about any issue. Skill: Skills are things/actions that people can do well. Attitude: Attitude is the perception of a person on a particular thing or issue. Through perception, people can accept or reject any certain issue.

The other day I was talking with someone that told me what would be the 3 tips or basic key points you’ll give to one novice in this of delivering training for adults. I thought about I create a short document to send my answers to her. But I also decided to do some videos to helped me to practice my french and to share with you my experience. Facing Adults and Adult Learning: Breaking with Traditional Training Models When we first start training adults, it's common to rely on the familiar models of education that we learned and in what we were educated, such as those used for children or in national or university. This approach often follows the logic of: "I say, then they do." However, it doesn’t work this way with adults for competence skills up or career change. With adult learners, it's crucial to break away from these traditional models and adopt different approaches. Adults need to feel a sense of autonomy, understand the purpose of the training, and see what they will gain in return for their attention, as well as how it benefits their work or personal goals. So, the question is: how can I connect this training to the motivation (the carrot) they are aiming for? How can I begin this training by making a connection, saying, "You're going to gain X at the end to feel Y" (a positive feeling of success)?
