Why do I want to join Emertxe as Campus Ambassador? It is an opportunity and gives me an immense pleasure to gain hands-on experience and develop your leadership skills while representing the company's brand. 1. Networking:- You can meet new people and communicate with fellow students, university officials, societies, and other student services teams.2. Leadership and communication skills:- You can grow your leadership and communication skills, and inspire other students to take a more active role in representing the school.3. Brand awareness:- You can help generate brand awareness, grow the prospects of student engagement with the brand, and ultimately lay the groundwork to help the brand or company convert prospects into customers. 4. Experience:- As a Campus Ambassador, the role is not just about promoting Emertxe, but also about gaining invaluable experience. I'll interact with diverse individuals, from fellow students to industry experts. This exposure hones my interpersonal skills, teaching me how to communicate effectively, collaborate in teams and adapt to different situations. 5.Proud moments:- Throughout your tenure as a campus ambassador, there will be moments that fill me with pride. It might be the successful organization of an event, the positive feedback from peers you've helped or the recognition from Emertxe for your exceptional contributions. These moments remind me that, I'm not only growing personally but also making a meaningful impact on others. #emertxe #campusambassador #leadership #excited #network #experience #opportunity #communication

"Don't take every opportunity. Be strategic with the opportunities you take. Because what you take on will be noticed." Great advice shared by Deena McKay, MSISM, CSM, SSM, CSPO at yesterday's SheLeads: Mentorship, Coaching, and Sponsorship panel at Technexus. It was an energizing event, and I got to meet women from across Chicago doing a wide variety of exciting work at varied stages in their careers. I appreciated this framing because often women - and folks from historically excluded groups generally - are made to feel that they should be grateful for any opportunity presented to them and feel pressure to accept whatever is offered. This is a reminder that every opportunity you choose to take builds your reputation and walks you down a path. And it's all too common that these folks wind up taking opportunities that build a reputation that they didn't necessarily want - let's say, great people manager instead of great architect, or incredible event planner instead of incredible program manager. Remember that the next time an opportunity is presented to you - think about where it's taking you and if you really want to go there. #WomenInTech #WomenInLeadership #CareerDevelopment

Figuring out + Achievements helped me understand what I want as a career "Throwback to 2023, when I took a step forward in my design journey by getting selected as a core member of the Under 25 GNI Summit! Working as a designer for a brand at such a big event was an amazing experience. Collaborating with a fantastic team and putting my creative skills into action taught me much about teamwork and the impact of good design. I had no clarity about where was I heading but I couldn't stop myself from learning and experimenting. The list has many more crazy things that I tried to learn #NandiniJadhav #figuringout #careers

Yesterday, I talked with our Global Graduates about the business challenges that they have worked on – for instance, aimed at creating new and optimized user experiences for our Home Connect and BlueMovement services. To experience business challenges plays a vital part of our Global Graduate Accelerator program, offering graduates the chance to deepen their understanding of our company, to enhance their skills and to work in cross-functional teams, preparing them for future roles within #BSH. Looking back on my own career, I shared the following thoughts with our graduates that I wish I had received earlier in my career: ✔ Expand your expertise and sharpen your mindset constantly - especially in today's incredibly dynamic business world. ✔ Be courageous! Take opportunities! Show initiative and take responsibility! ✔ Actively network and cultivate your business relationships! If you could go back in time, what advice would you give?

🌟 Reflecting on My First Year at Ardent Consulting Services 🌟 I'm a week overdue with this appreciation post, but it took me this long to articulate the incredible journey I've had over the past year at Ardent Consulting Services. Joining a company that had only just found its way into existence 10 months prior was a leap of faith that turned out to be more rewarding than I could have imagined. What I found most challenging to express, even with the help of AI, is the immense value that comes from being part of a small company. It goes beyond the interpersonal relationships; it's about the unexpected list I didn't know to look for: 1️⃣ Witnessing the Directors grow into their roles and watching their passion project evolve. 2️⃣ One-on-one mentoring, a luxury in a small-scale team, that has played a pivotal role in my growth. 3️⃣ Access to training, and allies, to help me develop skills I have wanted for years. 4️⃣ Leading my own team to determine if I can lead the way I've been lead. 5️⃣ Building and maintaining partnerships (ViridAU) that have strengthened our foundation. 6️⃣ Establishing client relationships that have grown exponentially in a remarkably short time. If you've ever considered joining the DarkSide, let me assure you, it's worth it. 😈 #WorkAnniversary #TeamAppreciation #ArdentConsultingServices

We continue our 'Behind the Desk' series with our National President, Heather Batchelor. How long have you been an AIOP Member? I first joined as a member in 2005 and my membership lapsed when I tried other organizations only to return in 2021 as they didn’t have the Professional Development I needed for growth in my career. I certainly did not have intentions to be the National President when I initially agreed to the National Administration Director when I rejoined. What advice would you offer to new members joining AIOP? Get involved, attend the webinars, or at least sign up and receive the recording later if you are busy. Look for opportunities to learn new skills, we have Board and Division positions available where you could learn leadership skills, event management, social media or data management. By joining AIOP you are investing in your career don’t waste this opportunity. #aiopnat #Membership #behindthedesk
