This Memorial Day, we remember the souls lost who have served this nation bravely, whether on two legs or four. While their sacrifice is a debt that we can't repay, we can take today to honor it with gratitude. #MemorialDay #HonorTheFallen

Currently, 32 countries are in a state of war or military conflict. Some countries have been at war for decades, some for several years. Everyone has their reason. But we are all united by the pain of the loss of loved ones, the death of children, and the loss of homes and historical heritage. But it is impossible to compare whose pain is bigger and who suffered more. Moreover, it cannot be measured in the number of victims. How can grief be measured in the number of dead? But when the comparison of the dead is used for fundraising, I find it particularly disgusting. Does it mean that someone does not die enough to receive international attention and support? This is not a pursuit of resources. It is about the value of each person, his dignity and freedom. This is not death for international money and attention. This is a fight for values. Don't compare one grief to another, neither at the level of countries nor at the level of the society of one country. Respect, not comparison, is the key to a civilized world.

As millions across the world continue to apply pressure towards a permanent end to the genocide, progressive philanthropy finds itself at a crossroads. Our shared calls for a ceasefire must become the floor, not the ceiling, of our collective organizing. 📢How do we build together from the demand for an end to genocide towards a collective call for the safety, dignity, and freedom of the Palestinian people? How, in short, do we organize ourselves as funders beyond the narrow terms of ceasefire towards the expansive promise of liberation? Join us in building a future rooted in justice and liberation: https://lnkd.in/g36mnjWF #Funders4Palestine

From a 1987 CNN interview: Trump: “If you look at the payments that we’re making to NATO, they’re totally disproportionate with everybody else’s, and it’s ridiculous. As far as other causes that are near and dear, this is the cause because if we can solve this then we’re able to take care of something that I consider of ultimate importance, and that is the homeless situation, that is the farmers, that is the sick. We don’t have any money. This country is busted. And it’s busted because we’re doing things that we shouldn’t be doing. If we had business ability in this country, we would be making lots of profit – so-called surplus. And that profit could be going to defend – and I literally mean defend – our homeless and our poor and our sick and our farmers – and that’s where we ought to be spending the money. Not giving it to countries that don’t give a damn for us to start off with.” https://lnkd.in/egMydRJq

https://lnkd.in/gd9XVjBb In the last 10 months, I have experienced a burning pain, when I worry about the future of our Jewish community, or the future of Israel. This is the pain that I feel when I worry what sort of lasting damage this war will have on Israeli society. About the Israelis who feel like theirs is no longer a country worth living in or fighting for, or who feel that Zionist ideals are dead. It is a pain I feel when people return from trips to Israel and say, “this time, it was different.” I feel it when I think about the shocking nature of Israel’s politics, about the inability of politicians to be held accountable for their actions (or inactions), and for their stunningly partisan displays. Rather than strengthening the ideals on which Israel was founded, today’s politicians are driven by personal motives and party politics that leave their electorate, and us Zionists abroad by the way, in the lurch. We are weakened by their egos. The pain I feel burns deep inside me when I read about how many Jews have been willing to turn against Israel - the sole Jewish State - trying to hold it to standards that no democratic nation has ever been held to. It is how I feel when fellow Western democratic nations feel the need to draw a moral equivalency between Israel and Hamas, or when - through some type of virtue signalling mental gymnastics - they ultimately come out on the side of Iran, the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, or other anti-democratic, authoritarian, and of course deeply antisemitic powers. I am distraught at how much daylight exists between my two countries, Canada and Israel.

One of the most profound and beautifully touching things to see in a long time.
I promise, this is one of the most beautiful moments you will ever witness. Sir Nicholas Winton helped 669 children — most of them Jewish — escape the Holocaust. His humanitarian accomplishments would remain unknown and unnoticed by the world for nearly 50 years. Then in 1988 he was invited to the BBC TV show That's Life!. Okay. Are you ready for this? So, there he sat — unknowingly — as part of the studio audience, surrounded by the children he had rescued. They were now adults. Then they surprised him with one of the greatest gifts of all time. Their presence. They were there, all alive — because of him. Not only was he reunited with dozens of children he had saved, but he was also introduced to many of their children and grandchildren. The power of one person is so much more than you realize. The power, within you, is so much greater than you ever imagined. I hope sweet Nic, helps you see that in yourself, too. So, please remember Sir Nicholas Winton, for his humanitarian operation known as the Czech Kindertransport. Sir Nicholas George Winton, a British stockbroker, and a gift to this planet, left us on July 1, 2015, at the age of 106. May his memory forever be a blessing and inspiration to all. #BringThemAllHomeNOW

How do I know that UNRWA, UN and all the donors knew full well what was going on and where their money went for the last 50 yrs? 1) There is no option of a state spending billions without making absolutely sure there is accountability for every penny. Otherwise, how could the state demand tax reviews from every one-man-show up to the huge corporations? 2) Looking at the UN and all of its bodies´ brazen insistance on a course of communication and on a narrative that is 100% proven by inviolate facts to be a lie and falsehood, I can know that, for them, there must be a very big elephant in the room. 3) In the face of undeniable facts proving them to be part and parcel of the enterprise called Hamas and PFLP, i.e. destroy the jews!, they continue as if nothing were wrong and they do not mention the israeli side with one word. The message is clear: Jews and Israel are insignificant and need to vanish. So, if they convey this message, then I have to interpret history in light of this message, and many things start to make sense.

When I'm asked what brought me to Canada, my answer is generally some version of 'the States are just americaing too much right now. Everyone seems to understand. Americaing, as a verb, can sum up: * Prioritizing military equipment sales over innocent children * Billions for saving banks, but zero for reparations for slavery * Culture war against trans people, but no war on poverty and homelessness * Loans forgiven for wealthy business owners, but not for students What does americaing mean to you? #TransRightsAreHumanRights #NoOneFreeUntilAllAreFree

"The jury returned guilty verdicts as to Stillwell, Samia, and Hunter on April 18, 2018. It appears that any Rule 33 motion based on newly discovered evidence must, therefore, be filed by or on April 17, 2021—a date that is approximately three months away." https://lnkd.in/gX9cxAfc No it is not -- it is one day short of three years. Why? I contend the manner in which this "Order" concludes is itself a "contract to commit." It is as if the Judges of concern are giving three "options" that can be used for an appeal that can then be bid. This has been the understanding since December of 2022 when I read this for the first time. What happened to my voice files? What happened to my videos? Yes...I believe it is being used in the matters referenced below. It is important what the response is when it is APPARENT that those involved in a case INTENTIONALLY engage in procedural mispractices, including when it comes to REFUSING a safe evidence submissions process so as to say that "material" evidence can be disqualified. 2:24 pm CST April 26, 2024 Co-President Charity Colleen "Lovejoy" Crouse Where is my budget? Where are my proposed pieces of legislation? Where are my original petitions to the Supreme Court and other "lower" courts, as well as the Supreme Court of Texas? Where is my birth certificate and driver's license? Where is my pension? Who has my Facebook account and my email RIGHT NOW? This is NOT "intelligence."
Is this why you told me to give the "Harvey Weinstein" stock to the woman of color who needs a murderd jew to pay for her "return to the chruch": https://lnkd.in/g4YdKUUu so then I can "divest" biological weapons that she was given to give to me?
