This workshop brought together leading researchers specializing in remote sensing, machine learning, signal and image processing, and big data management to discuss innovative approaches to handle and analyze this complex, heterogeneous data. The efficient processing and intelligent analysis of EO data are now essential for enhancing our understanding of the planet's current state and the changes it is undergoing, showcasing the critical role of data management and machine learning in driving forward the capabilities of artificial intelligence in Earth Observation. It was an honor to participate in the 11th Plenary of the Arab States of UN-GGIM in Doha, Qatar to present how the ideas and concepts of the #UNGGIM #IGIF can be implemented on the national level. OGC's roadmap towards a national geospatial ecosystem met with broad approval. The work carried out jointly by GEOSA and OGC on developing national geospatial ecosystems will be made available to the entire region as starting points for further national work, as decided at the Plenary. I am delighted that our work has met such broad interest and look forward to further cooperation.
