Individuals frequently surpass the boundaries of their job titles, rendering these titles a narrow descriptor of their actual roles and contributions. Furthermore, the same job title can have vastly different meanings depending on the company. For instance, a "Marketing Coordinator" at a large multinational firm might be responsible for overseeing a global campaign strategy, whereas the same title at a smaller local business might focus solely on administrative tasks and event coordination. In my professional experience, I have observed instances where job titles are assigned primarily for external perception, to appear more impressive and authoritative to clients. Additionally, it is not uncommon for organizations to have a disproportionately high number of employees with senior-sounding titles compared to those with junior titles.
