Ever since the condominium building collapsed in Surfside, Florida there have been many come to Jesus moments for condo owners in down there in Florida when it comes to deferred maintenance. And unfortunately, there are likely many more to come. I don’t think there is much to gain blaming the condo unit owners, or even condo boards, for the predicaments they are now facing. For the most part deferring maintenance started years prior by board members who are probably long gone at this point. So what is the point in finding someone to blame?
