Hi guys, This is why I wanna Kamayani, the group managing director for you know, consulting and other sister companies like Menezo digital hire and Oran X new baby in the house focusing on AI. Now this clip is really to inform you, excite you and invite you to one of the most exciting conferences to happen in the land of Botswana, the eye connect conference. This conference is premised on getting. To assist entrepreneurs appreciate, collaborate and also find ways of leveraging this new emerging technologies that are transforming the world in hope. Now I skin or lead, we conceptualize this conference two years ago where we had the support of other entrepreneurs in Botswana, other corporates in Botswana that came to speak about their technologies and how technologies are reforming and transforming their businesses. Government has been invited purely to lay the foundation in terms of how what they're doing in policy and program to facilitate entrepreneurial growth as invalid. We are really focused on entrepreneurs for this conference. So at Invalid, as you're aware, in terms of where technology comes from, we offer various services and the management consulting space such as project management, such as organizational design and corporate strategy such as asset management. And then we also have the Academy which also trains and supports teams, organizations around adoption of technologies such as AI and so forth, so. These programs we found out over time, but there are also being challenged by AI and other technologies. So we now going along with this and also of course with the general landscape in the country in terms of us going on in technology. Just a couple of statistics. In terms of technology, you might know that when it comes to contribution to technology and other and in the world, Africa only contributes in terms of funding 0.3%. If that is not sad, then I don't know what it is, but China has in the past targeted to spend at least 1% of GDP on technology and R&D. To date, we have never reached that target. So this is really again to demonstrate what technology can do. And if we're able to do that, we can hopefully also attract an advocate for improved expenditure. On these technologies which we wholly believe that invalid that they can transform Africa and we can close the gap. And when I refer to closing the gap, I mean we've got these so-called developed countries, we've got our countries which are still developing and some are still on the poor state. And for me the gap can be closed using technology. Imagine what drones can do in terms of transportation of health products, in terms of. Facilitating already in the United States that are considering using flying cars in terms of drones. So imagine what education can look like if we are supporting our kids and our teachers. The teachers would spend more time teaching than doing breathwork because a I can do that. So AI can really revolutionize how we do things in Botswana and Africa and this platform. So this is bringing the conversation to us, to Africa to also reflect, ponder, collaborate, stamp our position in Africa in terms of technology and see how we can also accelerate our growth process and achieve 2036, achieve at under 26 three, achieve South Africa 20-30, Kenya 2030 and so on and so on and make this place a better place and our people deserve this.
