You might have noticed that a new dropdown menu allowing you to select the date granularity for visualizations has been added to the reports interface. This update is quite handy, as it allows for easy switching and comparison of different date ranges (ah, how simple and pleasant it was in Universal Analytics!). However, there's one context where this feature might be a bit perplexing: the User Acquisition Cohorts report. In this report, it might seem like this dropdown controls the cohort size, but it doesn't. Instead, it adjusts the scale of the dates used in the chart. By the way, does anyone actually use the User Acquisition Cohorts report in #GA4? I can't fathom its usefulness. Share your thoughts in the comments.
