The other day, I was chatting with my colleague Mats - not only one of the nicest but also one of the smartest people I know. We were talking about what Sirocco does, the work we’re known for, what really sets us apart from other consultancies, what makes us unique, etc.
We’ve been at this for a while, but in that conversation, something clicked. Mats made me realise that we win (and keep) customers not because we just do what we’re asked and hired to do, but because our consultants are used to (and encouraged to) step up and become ✨ trusted advisors ✨.
When our team goes beyond executing tasks and starts asking tougher questions, bigger picture questions, when we challenge the status quo, push back (gently 😉) on ideas, and offer a different perspective, that’s when we truly make a difference for our clients!
Sure, it can be uncomfortable at times, but it’s always for the right reasons. Our teams aren’t just there to get the job done; they’re there to make sure it’s the right job, in the right way, at the right time. And that’s where the magic happens. It’s what keeps clients coming back, and it’s what builds lasting relationships.
