What if that Salesforce Consultant with only 2 years experience is actually really good on the platform and great in front stakeholders? What if someone without the Platform Developer I Cert actually writes amazing code? What if someone who has never worked in consulting actually has the soft skills to make an instant impact? What if someone who has no local experience is actually much stronger than the other candidates you have interviewed? What if someone who has had 4 roles in the last two years, could go on to be an amazing hire and huge asset to your team? What if the candidate who has just transitioned to Salesforce has actually picked up Flows quicker than someone who has been working with the platform for 5 years? What if the person who has never sold Salesforce services before, could go on to be the best sales person you have ever met? You will never know, unless you at least offer them an interview… 🤟 Your Salesforce roles are staying open longer than you would like? Stop looking for reasons not to give someone a chance. 🔥 Many people are looking for their first step into the Salesforce Ecosystem but are often put off that Junior roles have some daunting requirements such as 3 years experience, a PD2 certification, experience configuring CPQ and a range of other unrealistic expectations. We were all Juniors once, even those much coveted CTA's were once Juniors with less than 3 years experience or a list of certifications. If you are a hiring manager, an agency recruiter or an internal recruiter I urge you to find Junior Salesforce people for your Junior roles. Be realistic with your expectations, requirements, and your pay. Give Junior Salesforce people a chance... you might be surprised by the raw talent you find... I spoke with Tom Bassett about this very topic. #salesforce #salesforceadmin #trailblazers #trailblazercommunity #breakingintotheecosystem
