Excited to share insights from the "Augmented Collaboration in Trans European Communities" workshop at the GeNeMe Pre-Conference 2023! 🌐💡 📍 Technische Universität Dresden hosted Workshop on Augmented Collaboration in Trans-European Communities 🚀 Panel speakers from Erasmus+ projects COWEB - Virtual Collaborative Learning in the WB HEIs and SMART delved into key topics on innovation collaboration between higher education research and local industry in a social virtual reality setting (Tricat Spaces). We explored sustainable Trans-European communities, new approaches to inter- and cross-cultural cooperation, and the technical/didactical needs in online communities. 🤝 The workshop aimed to generate synergies, consolidating existing and fostering new collaborations in the Trans-European Higher Education Sector, with a special focus on the Western Balkan area. The goal? Enhancing exposure and inclusion of students and academic staff in international learning and research activities using hybrid mobility approaches. 🌐 Additionally, it served as a kickoff for the SMART project's online training and a prelude for the COWEB - Virtual Collaborative Learning in the WB HEIs. The session concluded with a vibrant feedback session, and the recorded discussion is now available online for further dissemination. 👋#iissconcettomarchesi conducted an “Open Day” last January 13th, opening its doors to welcome new enrolled students with their families for the next school year. 👩🎓After a general presentation made by IISS Concetto Marchesi Head teacher, Lucia Maria Sciuto, parents and newcomer students were divided into three different info points, according to the three courses: Humanistic, Scientific and Technical-Chemical-Environmental 👨🎓 📌 In each info point, the Erasmus+ coordinator, Cinzia Claudia La Rosa, illustrated and explained the multiple opportunities granted by the Erasmus+ Programme, with particular emphasis on NSB No One Stays Behind, its activities and results achieved so far. Today, Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa conducted the first of two online workshops framed in the SET4Inclusion European Project. The workshop assumed the form of an Inverted Classroom, where the participants were invited to master two different Learning Units: "Communication of the Policies for Enabling Inclusive Digital Education" and "Inclusive Digital Education Implementation Methodologies." ✨ Project Result 2: Learning about culture ✨ ➡️ Young adults are being provided with educational materials to enhance their comprehension of culture. These materials cover topics such as "What is culture" and "What are the domains of culture", along with engaging examples from various cultural aspects. To make the learning experience more captivating, a variety of videos and animations have been incorporated. These materials can be accessed on the CisU YouTube channel and the online Miles learning platform. 🎉 The project results are currently accessible on the CisU website in English. We are particularly excited to share that Ulysseus is an associated partner of the new #FOREU4All project, which unites over 60 European Universities alliances into a unified Community of Practice. This initiative aims to bring together all current and future European Universities alliances into a cohesive structure, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where best practices and experiences can be shared. Together, these alliances will drive lasting transformation in higher education by pioneering deep transnational cooperation. They will contribute significantly to the European Education & Research Area by offering joint degree programs, promoting mobility across borders, and enhancing the international attractiveness and competitiveness of Europe's higher education. In another highlight, we celebrated the formation of new European university partnerships under the Erasmus+ 2024 call for proposals. With 14 new alliances joining the 50 previously selected, this brings the total to 64 alliances, encompassing more than 560 higher education institutions across Europe. This remarkable achievement meets the European university strategy target of at least 60 European university partnerships involving more than 500 universities by mid-2024. Let us celebrate this significant milestone and look forward to the innovative collaborations and advancements in higher education that these alliances will bring!
