Top innovator in the industry: OASE receives the TOP 100 seal for outstanding innovation management for the fourth time in a row With the prestigious TOP 100 award, the only independent award for innovation management in Germany, OASE is once again being recognized for its outstanding creativity and development dynamics this year. The continuity of previous successes in the years 2021 to 2023 underlines OASE's sustainable and long-term innovation strategy. Innovation also means creating from scratch. How satisfying to be able to make something out of what's in the attic or basement. Here's a swing made from 90% recycled materials.

Around 100 million tons of cotton waste are produced annually. Around 10.000 liters of water are needed to grow 1 kg of cotton. New rules approved to prevent destruction of unsold clothing. ..And yet Re:newcell failed to find customers for its product. That's a reminder about: 1. Technology is not enough. 2. If you want to change a value chain, better understand it. 3. Trust what people do, not what they say. 4. Cheap (often) beats sustainable. .. and a few others. My take home lesson is that disruptive innovation can happen only when all the key stakeholders are part of the process. Changing the status quo takes understanding, adaptation and trust. All things that come with time and participation.
