Our First Game Jam Experience 🌟 The Arcade Game Development and Metaverse Club recently participated in the GMTK Game Jam 2024, marking our first ever game jam! 🎮💻 We divided into two teams, each creating a unique game in just 96 hours, and the journey was nothing short of exciting. #33 Game Engines - CryEngine (Part II) Is the engine recommended for developers and studios? The opinion of the community is relatively clear: CryEngine can be difficult to learn with limited documentation and a small development community. The gameplay framework is a bit inflexible. Most people give the advice that it is unsuitable for small projects due to performance and scalability issues. An assessment that we and our #development team can share. In fact, we have already implemented larger projects on behalf of customers, but recommended switching to the #UnrealEngine. And that's where we're going next.
