Curious about the GenAI revolution in startups? 💡 Last week we hosted a full-house launch event of hubraum's GenAI Study, in partnership with Startup-Verband. Moderated by Alexander Hirschfeld (Head of Research at the Startup-Verband), the report’s biggest findings were discussed by our panelists: Axel Menneking (Head of hubraum), Dr. Annika von Mutius (Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Empion), Nicole Büttner (Founder & CEO at Merantix Momentum), Dr. Hamed Ketabdar (AI Lead at Deutsche Telekom & Lecturer at Technische Universität Berlin). In light of Gen AI's profound impact in the last years, this study was conducted to grasp its implications into the source of this revolution: the startups. Here some of the key discoveries that were presented: ⚫️ 76% of all startups are early adopters and use GenAI tools in everyday life, while only 3% of established companies see GenAI as an essential part of their work processes. ⚫️ The US dominates Gen AI investment, 12 times more capital is invested in GenAI startups per capita than in Germany. ⚫️ Despite funding challenges, Gen AI startups flourish, with a 363% surge in investment. ⚫️ Startup skepticism towards AI regulation persists, hindering innovation. 🎥 Would you like to watch the full event and listen to our speakers’ perspectives?
