Some of the successful behaviors I listed include - 📈 Understanding how innovation will translate into market success. Great science does not guarantee commercial success. ⚠️ Factoring the technical risk of FDA approval into strategic planning. Too often, companies miss key information the FDA is communicating. 🔂 Developing key strategies early based on commercial analytics. Commercial represents a lot more than just sales and marketing. ⚙️ Having the tools and processes for considering a wide variety of strategic options and risks. All too often companies treat forecasts as number generators vs. strategy assessment tools. Speed to market is rarely a winning strategy. 🗣 Creating dialogue between commercial and clinical leads.
