My alma-mater:) I graduated from the full-time program almost 11 years ago. Still, this experience is one of the most influential in my life. 3 things I love about ESADE: 1) Collaborative environment. I believe, that competition could be good and could motivate people to achieve higher results. But, at least for me, collaboration is much better. We can design much better decisions or solutions in a team when we can share and discuss our ideas accumulating the strengths of all team members. ESADE nurtures this collaborative atmosphere. 2) Amazing community and network. People (students, and faculty) are very open, friendly, and helpful. We still have a Whatsapp group for our wave and groups in every country, where you can easily discuss any topic, ask for recommendations, and find new business opportunities. You will always feel this support. 3) Global experience Besides classes and an opportunity to work with local businesses in Spain, we had several business trips to other countries where we learned about local businesses and dived into completely different cultures. Priceless.

"The INSEAD MIM program looks great but I heard the placements have been bad this season" This is what a recent grad who is applying to MIM programs had to say when I recommended he apply to the INSEAD MIM. As an INSEAD alum, I'm a strong proponent of the school and have strongly recommended it to anyone who sought my feedback. A couple of years ago when INSEAD started the Masters in Management or MIM program, I decided to take a look at the program structure and I found some interesting takeaways Compared to the flagship INSEAD MBA, the MIM program had - Similar course structure - Spread across Fontainebleau and Singapore - Taught by the same stellar professors The only difference I saw was that the MIM program was targeted towards a younger audience - recent grads and those with a year or two of work experience on average. I thought this was an excellent program that could transform a person's career at an early stage and strongly recommended it within my circle. But over the last year or so with how things turned out in the global job market, I've heard of people struggling to find roles. I was recently speaking to a few aspiring candidates for the MIM. They love the program but we're hearing rumours that the placements have been tough from their friends. Instead of hearsay, I was wondering if the recent graduates can share their experience?
