Research shows that around 70% of people experience imposter syndrome at some point in their careers. People who struggle with CAT 2024 Imposter Syndrome & Exam Anxiety believe they are undeserving of their achievements and the high esteem in which they are generally held. Most of us are no strangers to crippling self-doubt. We live in a hypercompetitive result-orientated society. The ends tend to overshadow the means at every turn. We are made to feel insignificant and small, exacerbated when we are in an exam like the CAT. "How do you let go of the fears? How do you stop the self-sabotage, when the walls seem closer to you daily, and the pressure keeps mounting?" I am afraid there is no single perfect answer. It is, however, a journey. A journey from self-doubt to indomitable self-belief. Here are a couple of ways to ensure you beat your biggest competitor this season, Yourself. 🔗Read the article here- https://cutt.ly/AemqOXLZ #cat2024

The pressures of starting, running, or managing a business can affect one's physical and mental health. You can feel fine on the outside, yet numerous silent battles could be internally underway. These silent battles, while small at first, can grow exponentially if left unaddressed. One way to sniff out potential silent battles and struggles is to always be on the offensive and operate with a preventative mentality. That said, I recorded a recent video sharing 11 critical lab biomarkers to keep an eye on regarding your health and longevity. Some of these aren't common, and you may have to ask for them. Lastly, this is all for educational, informational, and entertainment purposes. Speak to your provider before making any rash decisions.

Our patients are always our best teachers! No one knows better than #burnsurvivors themselves what it takes to reclaim a #LifeWorthLiving after #burns. In order to distill what we know about the impact of burn injury on a human body, mind and soul, I often quote Professor Fiona Wood, who said: "The quality of outcome must be worth the pain of survival." Pain of survival that drags burn survivors unapologetically through time, on their journey to recovery. But it was at the recent International Society for Burn Injuries - ISBI British Burn Association Congress, when Adam Maher presented the work of Global Burn Injury & Care Research Prioritisation exercise, and shared this invaluable lesson from a burn survivor, when I fully understood our unique and privileged place in our patients' stories: "It is futile and negligent to save the life of someone with a severe, disfiguring burn injury, and not provide them with the resources necessary to adjust to an altered appearance and life." Read it again. It cuts deep, doesn't it?! What this anonymous teacher does - is holds each one of us accountable for our actions and inactions, by sharing the consequential domino effect of our professional decisions on another human life. Each one of us has an opportunity to change the burn survivor's outcome trajectory from the time that "life saving" takes place - from the very first contact! Each one of our choices, interventions, hesitations and indecisions will not only relate to the life saved... ...but will also be responsible for the quality of the life that will be lived! So when will NOW be the good time to impact how a life we save is experienced and lived? #BeBurnsAware #SavingLivesIsNotEnough #ISBIBBA2024 #lovemyjob

The Broken Heart Syndrome. Emotional Stress is often a matter of life and death said Indian-American Cardiologist, Sandeep Jauhar, 5 years ago. If your heart has ever been broken, you'll understand this. And no, it's not only reserved for women or weak men to be heart broken, nor to adults; children get their hearts broken too. And the difference often is, they lack words to express them, unlike the adults. They— children, especially, deserve more attention paid to their emotions. Over time, it could become a matter of life and death, only the death, which appears sudden, happened over time. Take care of your heart and take care of the hearts of the children in your care. Emotions are too real to be ignored. Emotion Intelligence (management) is too important to be relegated. It's why at Little Crystals Cradle, we infuse Social Emotional Learning —SEL in our everyday learning process so children are prepared for managing emotions. It's highly important. 💜, The Children Nurturer. To watch the full TEDtalk, click here https://lnkd.in/dY-VABAZ

Concussion sufferers with persistent symptoms often struggle all day, everyday, with LOW ENERGY. They are in an energy crisis, and there are very little tools or resources to support sufferers with how to live through this, until they recover. It can be game changing to think about the day in energy cycles, getting energy to the brain FIRST, before cognitive demand. And then, after a pulse of productive time, calming the nervous system can bring symptoms under control. Rinse and repeat, and daily energy can increase. #concussion #concussionrecovery #concussionawareness #headinjury #tbi #tbisurvivor #tbiawareness #postconcussivesyndrome #postconcussionrecovery #traumaticbraininjury #tbirecovery #traumaticbraininjurysurvivor #braininjury #braininjuryawareness #braininjurysupport #brainfog #fatigue

Back pain is such a common injury that statistics show it is one of the most common injuries among people today. In 2009 1 in 7 Australians (13.6%) reported having serious back problems—that’s 3 million people! This injury can affect people of all ages and abilities. For over 19 years I have worked with over a thousand different cases of bulging discs I have found I often resort to a few key exercises. The ones I use most can vary considerably from person to person in terms of which is more important and beneficial, but in most cases the following exercises I am about to explain in this article, are the ones that provide relief in the short term and get them out of chronic pain. https://lnkd.in/gZgfXxBB
