US Bond markets depict an 'unsettling calm' Corporate Bond yield spread over Treasury Yield in US at 99 percentile since the data is available. Current spread at 1.40% (99%ile at 1.39%), long period average 2.30%. Baa is considered investment grade and relatively low risk, but only one grade above a junk bond rating.
