NGC 869 and NGC 884, imaged and processed by Alpha Zhang are both open star clusters located in the constellation of Perseus. These clusters are often referred to as the "Double Cluster" due to their close proximity in the sky. NGC 869 is slightly younger and denser than its counterpart, NGC 884. A new image set that produced this is available for download and processing in our image set repository, Starbase. 8 hours and 40 minutes of LRGBHa data were captured using the AFIL-26 remote telescope: https://lnkd.in/epVb-JBg #Doublecluster #NGC869 #ngc884 #astrophotography #astrophoto #astrographia #astrofotografie #astronomy #astro #insightobservatory #space #nightsky #telescope #universe #starrysky #nightphotography #cosmos #outerspace #skygemsremoteobservatories #starbase #deepskychile

SNR G82.2+5.3, nicely processed by Rocco Sung is a supernova remnant located in the Cygnus constellation. It is the remnants of a stellar explosion, exhibiting a shell-like structure. This remnant is characterized by its relatively high radio brightness and is studied to understand the processes of supernova explosions and the subsequent interactions of the shock waves with the interstellar medium. 48 hours of HaO3S2 data were captured using the AFIL-27 remote telescope: https://lnkd.in/eVVdNiWT #astrophotography #astrophoto #astrographia #astrofotografie #astronomy #astro #insightobservatory #astrophotography #astrophoto #astrographia #astrofotografie #astronomy #astro #insightobservatory #space #nightsky #telescope #universe #starrysky #nightphotography #cosmos #outerspace #skygemsremoteobservatories #starbase #deepskychile #utahdesertremoteobservatories

Orion's Belt, skillfully processed by Alpha Zhang, is a prominent and easily recognizable feature in the night sky, situated within the constellation of Orion. It consists of three bright stars - Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka - arranged in a straight line, forming the distinct pattern of a belt across Orion's waist. This new image set displays a plethora of nebulosity. This new image set that produced this is available for download and processing on our image set repository, Starbase.
