How do NEW prospects discover your event? Are you depending on them to: - See AND pay attention to your ads. - Search for AND spend time on your website. - Open AND read your emails. - Follow your event page AND read your posts. If prospects are already showing this kind of intent, you’re likely reaching people who have ALREADY heard about your event. To GROW your net new attendance, you need to EXPAND the number of prospects who show intent. One of the best ways to do that is to make sure the event is being talked about, regularly, in THEIR networks. Not just yours. For event marketers, that’s not as hard as it sounds. Because you’ve already got relationships with people in THEIR networks. So encourage your events’ speakers, attendees, sponsors and exhibitors to talk about their OWN participation in their OWN networks. And make it easy for them to share good-looking, event-branded content (personalised for key players) wherever and whenever they want.
