Are you ready to support team building in a hybrid office environment? It’s no surprise that teams are more productive when people get on well, have good work-life balance, and are happy and fulfilled in their work. Casual and social communication is crucial when it comes to team building. But with remote and hybrid working becoming more and more common, we’re hardly likely to bump into each other for a chat. So how on earth do we recreate those unforced connections that come from the traditional office setup? Read our blog on Next-gen leadership: Adapting to the hybrid team dynamic https://bit.ly/49dyF5n Here are 5 tips to increase team bonding: ➡️ Be flexible and curious. Build self-awareness around the team to help everyone understand and respect how they work best in a team environment. ➡️Find ways for employees to let their "hair down". If virtual activities like trivia games or lunch-and-learns feel a bit cheesy to your team, ask them for feedback regarding activities to increase bonding. ➡️Have casual daily catch-ups. These can be as little as 15 minutes every day, but it helps teams to keep chatting informally. ➡️ Create 'mini' teams within a team. Smaller breakaway groups could help employees to work together more closely and gives team members time to get to know each other and connect on a personal level. ➡️ Celebrate your team. Acknowledge and recognise your employees' work and efforts in the company. Be conscious that not everyone will have the same "wins" and discuss this with your team. Love this! Even more important with hybrid teams - definitely harder but creativity definitely makes it happen!
