I know it's August 5th and if you're like me, you're currently enthralled in the #olympics and perhaps melting in the late summer heat waves. When you're hosting and guest drink experience is next level.

With the upcoming holday season, personalized gift baskets/hampers are the best-love them!! Whether it's a colleague who has helped you throughout the year or a mentor who drives you to succeed, a personalized gift hamper is much loved and appreciated by all. This is what I do: 1. I generally have a theme-women/fall/christmas etc. 2. I use Dollar Tree charger plates as a base-they come in a variety of colors and have a beautiful design on each, not plain! 3. It is another good source for coffee table books. When I find them, I buy them in bulk. 4. 2-3 big items in the center or at the back and 5-7 small items all around 5. My preference for big items are generally books/lanterns/chests-Hobby Lobby is great for the last 2! 6. Small items would be travel size toiletries, pumpkins, christmas ornaments, homemade Christmas treats etc. Walgreens perfume gift sets are my best bet around Christmas. Buy a set of 3 and split them for multiple hampers:) works out much cheaper than an individual purchase. 7. Once all are placed on charger plates, I use a big transparent tape at the base to secure all. 8. The biggest issue once assembled is how do you carry it?! I found Cracker Barrel plastic bags work great as they have a base big enough to accomodate a charger plate. Happy gifting y'all! Do share your gift ideas and pictures too:)
