Last night, I had the privilege of attending an iLEAD - Unlock your leadership potential workshop focused on Leadership 101. What stood out to me wasn't just the exploration of various leadership styles but the deep, insightful conversations on why we gravitate towards certain styles in different contexts. This dialogue sparked an intense curiosity within me, driving me to reflect on my own leadership. I have spent quite some time supporting development of leaders as individuals and teams. This article captures well also my observations about the 3 types of leadership developments, which any organization can adopt to ensure their leaders are prepared for: 1. future roles, and/or 2. current job and/or 3. winning future of the organization. And as always, a key is to bridge the gap between leadership training and organization success/ business impact.
