Today I welcomed back a returning client for Events Business Coaching (a US-based event & retreat agency owner) She is doing INCREDIBLE things in her space but is ready to turn up the dial, simplify her services and pricing, be KNOWN as the go-to for what her agency does, and have a plan to bring in aligned leads and up their revenue significantly. Why do we offer multiple coaching sessions leading up to our Reach Your Peak Events?   The simple answer is that we want to do more; we want to offer more than any other provider globally. It comes from myself and Stevie's personal experience of signing up for an event, paying your fee, turning up at the event, completing it and then returning home, and then never hearing from the provider again. #latepost I LOVE TO POST LATE :) From Networking Newbie to an Event Organizer: My Unexpected Journey as a Coach It's funny how a simple workshop can spark a change. In November 2023, I attended a visual sketchnotes workshop by Piyuesh Modi ✍️↗️, and it wasn't just the cool drawing techniques that caught my eye. It was the starking difference in how I approached this event compared to a casual networking meetup earlier that year. Back then, fresh out of ICF coach training, I was scrambling to relaunch my coaching business. My mind was buzzing with questions: ??How do I build a coaching business? ??What's the groundwork? ??How do I find clients? Two and a half hours later into the meetup, none of these questions were answered. But something clicked. I realized networking with intention was crucial, and the idea for a better learning event was born. Fast forward to February 18th, 2024, and I organised a learning and networking event for Srikanthan Kumarasamy along with Lakshan Srikanthan and Krishna Prakashji sharing their insights and experiences about Coaching, ICF Coach Competencies, Entrepreneurial mindset, and Coach Self-management strategies. April Strong, 💪 ACC (ICF) co-hosted the event with me. This event was a culmination of that initial frustration and a realization: we need to be intentional with our goals.
