❓For most of us, our pursuit for success often leads to burnout, straining our relationships with loved ones and sacrificing what truly matters. We disconnect from our partners; we lose connection with our kids and friendships and family dynamics suffer. (Its not all roses like it once was) 🌹🌹 Is this disconnect with life worth the climb up the corporate ladder, chasing promotions, or seeking peer recognition at the expense of our well-being? Personally, I don't think so. ❌ 📌Having spent many years in the corporate and traditional business worlds, I know this struggle well. It was at this point in my mid-40s, I made the courageous decision to leave the corporate world and return to entrepreneurship. From owning restaurants and aged care facilities to managing global distribution, I’ve worn many hats since I was in my early twenties. In 2019 I found an online solution and leaving a secure six-figure income was a leap of faith, but it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. Since then, I’ve experienced tremendous personal and financial growth, achieving life goals I'd always dreamed about but never really thought were possible. 💻Running an online business has given me the freedom to build a life that aligns with my vision and values. In our busy lives, we often lose sight of what’s truly important because we are so stuck in a rut we cant see out of. 🔑As the founder of Inspiring Lives Today, I now enjoy a life of abundance, time & financial freedom, with the unwavering belief that anything is possible and I share this with others who like me are ready for a change in the way they live life. Our online work-from-anywhere business solution empowers driven individuals from all walks of life to create a world of endless possibilities and true fulfillment by working on the inner you first, with the financial gain following closely after. This 👇 is important to me 🐂☀🌾 . Ensuring my business and work provides me with the time and financial freedom for this, to care for my family, and the little things in life that bring me joy (like making sourdough) is the key to my happiness. When I prioritised this and saw everything start to align, I realised my true definition of success. Life is more than work. As a farmer and daughter of farmers, I know that some of our work is our life—a lifestyle choice my husband and I, like many people on the land and in agriculture particularly, have embraced. However, aside from this, it’s taken me the best part of the last 20 years to understand that work should support the life you want to lead, not consume it. As business owners, irrespective of industry, it's so easy to keep grinding away until we eventually, and inevitably, burnout. I’ve been there myself! Sadly, more than once. So, why do we continue to allow it? Why do we keep adding to our already overflowing plates and pushing through the exhaustion to the detriment of our mental and physical health? Yes, I agree, some situations are unavoidable—I've lived through those too. But when will we, as business owners, be brave enough to change this narrative? Creating a life by design is possible—I am living proof. But it takes work. It takes the courageous decision to stand up and say, "This isn't working". Or, “I want more”. It requires facilitated, frank and fearless conversations with business partners, significant others, and family members. It takes action and accountability to achieve the life you envision. But it is possible, and is so worth the effort. #shorttermpainlongtermgain So, here’s my challenge to you: Drop a pic of (or share in the comments) what success looks like to you. 🚜 Is it a shiny new green tractor? 🏂 A family holiday to the snow? 💰 Reducing debt by $X over the next five years? 💡 Having the time and financial freedom to join a local community group and contribute to causes bigger than yourself? 💕 Or something as simple as taking your partner on a date once a month without the kids? There is no right or wrong answer. Success is unique to each of us, and that’s the beauty of it all. Knowing what success looks like for you though, is only step one. The next step is being brave enough to make it your reality. Are you up for the challenge? Let’s create some momentum and open the conversation! #lifebydesign #strategicbusinessplanning #vision #values #success #burnout #smallbusiness #agriculture #mentalhealth #whoslookingafteryou #remoteedge

Career and life happiness coach. I teach unfulfilled success addicts how to reinvent and create a meaningful second act with more money, freedom, and fulfillment. Featured: CBS, FOX, Tamron Hall
When Your Life Looks Great on the Outside... But Feels Anything But. Where do you turn when your life doesn’t feel as good as it looks on social media? Who do you confide in when you’ve climbed every ladder of success, only to realize the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall? 🧗♂️ How do you reignite that fire within when every day feels like a repeat of the last, like you’re living in "Groundhog Day"? ⏳ Here’s the truth many high-achievers don’t talk about: Many burned-out execs spend years chasing the next promotion or pay raise, believing it will finally bring them happiness... only to discover that more money often comes with more stress, more overwhelm, and more pressure to keep the plates spinning. And when that pressure becomes unbearable, they seek a quick fix—like medication—to ease the anxiety. But as you’ve probably figured out by now, there’s no prescription that can cure a crisis of purpose. It spills over into your personal life too, right? The long hours, the frustration, the constant grind. You’re drained, and your family and friends are starting to notice. Maybe they’ve even let you know it’s a problem. And here’s the part that stings: how many people chalk this up to “first world problems”? You might’ve told yourself, “Who really loves their job anyway?” But if you’re still reading this—nodding along, feeling that pull in your gut—then you know deep down, something needs to change. And it can change. You don’t have to settle. There’s a better way to work and live. Imagine waking up with excitement for the day ahead, knowing you’re doing meaningful work that aligns with your values, feeds your purpose, and, yes, boosts your income. That kind of reinvention doesn’t happen on its own—it requires new momentum.... that is self-initiated. For the past 9 years, I’ve helped thousands of burned-out execs like you create a second act that brings them more meaning, money, and freedom. And as you can see from the client text I’m sharing, it happens faster than you think. So, here’s your next step: If any of this resonates with you, reach out. Let’s have a conversation about how you can break free from the grind and design a life you’re excited to wake up to. The reinvention starts now. 9 life lessons I know at 40 I wish I'd known at 25. Recently, I had a heart-to-heart conversation with a group of 25-year-olds, and boy, was it eye-opening. Time flies, doesn't it? As I reflect on my journey, I realise there's so much I've learned along the way. Let me share with you those insights I wish I could share with my 25-year-old self: 1. Time is your most precious asset: At 40, I'm willing to spend more money to buy time. Don't waste it! Studies show we spend about 2.5 hours a day on social media - imagine what you could achieve with that time! 2. Prioritise quality over speed: Life isn't a race. Focus on personal growth and health. Trust me, it pays off in the long run. 3. Guard your reputation fiercely: Money and fame may come and go, but your reputation is your true, intangible asset. It can make or break you. 4. Build products that touch hearts: Create solutions that resonate with your consumers. 94% of customers are likely to be loyal to a brand that offers complete transparency. 5. Don't stress about scaling: Instead, concentrate on building support, knowledge, and your brand. The rest will follow. 6. Nurture your company culture: Interpersonal relationships matter. Show up, even on tough days. Remember, negativity is contagious, and so is positivity! 7. Ask for what you want: The worst they can say is "no". You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. 8. Believe in miracles: Keep working hard. Either luck or life will surprise you. Many entrepreneurs say luck played a role in their success. 9. Live in the present: Today's 20-year-olds seem to always be in a rush. Don't panic; you have time. Trust me on this one. Looking back, these lessons have shaped my journey as an entrepreneur and human being. They've helped me build businesses and find fulfilment in my personal life. Now it's your turn! What's a life lesson you wish you could share with your younger self?

Humanitarian Worker | Gender & Protection Advocate | Skilled in Project Impact & Resilience Building
Imagine a life where you can truly be present for every precious moment with your family while also achieving financial independence. This isn't just a dream; it's a reality that many online entrepreneurs are living today. 🌟 You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. For a year, I watched online entrepreneurs grow their businesses and change their lives. I've always believed in investing in yourself, but my job as a humanitarian worker made it hard. We spent 80% of our time in remote, rural areas, so starting an online business seemed impossible. Even though I loved my work, I wanted the freedom to choose how and where I spent my time. This became even more important when I had my daughter. Leaving her just one month after she was born to do my job was heart-wrenching. Every time I left, I was filled with anxiety, hoping and praying that she would be safe and adjust well to bottle feeding in my absence. My 'why' became clear: I needed to create a life where I could be fully present for my family without giving up my career. ❤️ In any business, knowing your 'why' is crucial. It's what keeps you motivated and strong, especially when things get tough. For me, my 'why' was wanting to be there for my daughter, to see her grow, and to give her the stability and love she needed. This strong motivation pushed me to explore and succeed in the online business world. If you're a working mother, or anyone who dreams of spending more quality time with loved ones while still having a fulfilling career, finding your 'why' is essential. It will guide you through hard times and keep you going. An online business can give you the time and freedom you need to be there for your family and not miss out on the important moments. 👨👩👧👦 So, take that shot. Invest in yourself. Your 'why' is not just a reason; it's the foundation of your journey toward a balanced and empowered life. 🚀

Make the jump or stay in comfort? Too often I speak to people that are looking for the change, learn new skills, financial freedom and I have some positive conversations about it. Then anything from 5 minutes to a few days later I get an email with excuses: This is outside my skillset I don't have the money I decided to stay working a job and the list goes on. We learn new skills everyday, there was a time we didn't know how to drive a car or a motorbike. Money comes and goes, time doesn't. Myself included I sacrificed my way of living and even sold stuff to invest in my future and create the life I want, money comes back, time doesn't. We come in this world with nothing and we will leave with nothing. As far as being stuck working for a job: Being told when to work, how hard to work, meeting imposible targets Get 2-4 weeks of leave a year and having to get it approved Working with people you don't like and doing the 1 thing you wanted to escape All because the opportunity that is provided in front of you, you don't want to take a chance of and take the leap of faith. Fear is hard, regret is harder pick your battles You may fail at doing something new but wouldn't you rather fail then not try at all, just to be stuck where you are for the rest of your life? Freedom comes from being in full control of your life and you decide what, when, how! If you are ready to make the jump, check out my website and if you like what you read, enter your details in and I will personally reach out. https://lnkd.in/g-HPHY3M Serge #freedom #choice #fear #courage #worklifebalance #mylife #mylifemyway #mychoice #leapoffaith #nocomfort #comfortzone

The Mental Musician. Building a community of 200+ musicians who are mentally fit and resilient, rediscovering joy in their careers.
Can a conversation with a friend save your life? I was there, and here’s how a simple coffee chat became a turning point. At my lowest, I was ready to give up. For years, I poured my heart into my dreams—starting my own music school, striving for financial stability, and maintaining personal relationships. On paper, everything seemed perfect. Yet, reality hit hard. My business was failing, my health was declining, and my dreams felt hollow. Every day felt like a relentless battle, and I struggled to find hope. I wondered if this was it. One evening in July 2023, a coffee meeting changed everything. I sat down with a friend who, like me, battled depression. Over our 8:30pm decaf latte, I shared something I had never said out loud before: “I think I’ve had enough.” My friend, who understood my pain, replied with an unexpected answer that gave me the comfort I needed. He shared his reasons for holding on: 1. His aging parents 2. A young mentee he was guiding 3. Our weekly catch-ups. It struck me deeply - more than any other song had ever done. In that moment, I found my new purpose. I realised that my life wasn’t about accolades or material successes. It was about the connections and moments with those I cared about. I re-evaluated my goals and discovered that true fulfilment lay in the relationships I cherished, not just professional achievements. Here’s what I learned: 1. Redefine your purpose. Shift your focus from material goals to what genuinely matters in your life. 2. Seek support. Open up to friends or mentors who understand your struggles. Sometimes, just talking can make a world of difference. 3. Find meaning in relationships. The little moments with loved ones often hold more value than any career milestone. When I look back now, I realize that my journey was about more than just professional success. It was about finding meaning in the people around me and the simple joys of life. For every achievement, you’ll have 100 moments with friends and family that define what it means to be alive. When I reflected on my life, the best moments were with people who matter, not from business success. You can aim for monetary goals and passion projects, but those moments are fleeting. I found my purpose in being there for my friends and family when they needed it most. Don’t wait until you’re at your lowest to find this out. Start today.

Better to Be a Late Bloomer Than a Rumor-Monger Remember the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness"? Chris Gardner, played by Will Smith, struggled with homelessness and countless rejections before landing a job at a prestigious brokerage firm. His story is a testament to perseverance and the rewards of blooming late. In a world that celebrates early success, it’s crucial to recognize that it’s better to be a late bloomer than a rumor-monger—spreading baseless tales of premature success. I have met many late bloomers and somethings ring true with all of them: • They gain depth and insight and have broader experiences leading to a richer understanding of the world. • They are better at decision making. There is a popular saying “With age comes wisdom”. The more you see and learn, the better your choices become. •Resilience and Perseverance. Late bloomers are built to be tough. Facing challenges early on builds a resilient character. • They are seasoned veterans in dealing with setbacks, and this makes them more adaptable. • They have unique perspectives which lead to innovative ideas. Diverse experiences lead to unique and innovative ideas. • They contribute a special set of “Diverse Skills”. Combining skills from various fields often results in out-of-the-box thinking. • Sustainable success plays a big part of their mindset and this helps with developing long-term vision. Late bloomers often have a clearer, long-term vision. • Consistency is key! They focus on steady and sustainable growth rather than quick wins. Are you a late bloomer and you feel like you are alone? Well, you are not. Did you Know? ▶Albert Einstein didn’t speak until he was four, and didn’t read until he was seven. Yet, he redefined physics. ▶J.K. Rowling faced numerous rejections before “Harry Potter” became a global phenomenon. ▶Vera Wang entered the fashion industry at 40 and built an iconic brand. So embrace yourself for the journey ahead to Self-Discovery: 📌Explore interests and take time to explore various interests and passions. Never stop learning and evolving! 📌Set Realistic Goals: Take small steps and break down your goals into achievable steps. Make sure you celebrate milestones or achievements, no matter how small. 📌Engage mentors and peers. Surround yourself with supportive people who can help you on your journey. 📌Most importantly……Network! Network!! Network!!! Build a strong professional network for guidance and opportunities. Remember, being a late bloomer is not a drawback; it's a journey filled with learning, growth, and eventual success. It is never too late to come to the party, so get dressed and get going. Your unique path might just lead to extraordinary success. Stay patient, stay persistent, and keep blooming at your own pace. 🌸 Are you a late bloomer? I would love to hear your story so connect with me to share. #CareerTransition #LateBloomer #NeverTooLate #Inspiration #Day10

Frustrated with how life's playing out? I get it...here's what I did. At 49 I was despondent with my career. I'd had enough of working with people driven by ego, cars, holidays, houses. I've always had a love and passion for helping others realise their potential...I just never found a fit. I was good at earning money, in senior roles, with a swanky office, exec assistants, the stuff I thought would make me feel successful. But it didn't. Like many before me...I was simply selling my soul to money...not adding any real value in life...just profit for faceless others. The 'awakening' or 'realisation' often happens around 40-60. You've gained enough life experience to understand that your early goals were not aligned to life satisfaction... just ad campaigns. I felt the pain and did something completely stupid, reckless, crazy. I threw in the executive income, travel and perks, to start a company focused on human optimisation...not profit optimisation. What I did was risky. It still is... and I don't recommend being that drastic. It's a big transition. So here's some more palatable ideas. TIP 1: Don't strap your identity goals to money. Find something outside work, that adds true value where you need it most...your passion. TIP 2: Re-prioritise your life around your passion and treat your job, as just a job... an enabler for your passion...and... you may realise that your true passion may not require a lot of money... just time. ACTION: Get a piece of paper...write on it what you'd like to hear about yourself at your funeral, spoken by those closest to you...about your passions. Write it. Then start...before life gets away from you. REMEMBER: You have only one life. Every day you live is closer to that eulogy. WANT MORE? Want to explore more life optimisation strategies in a global community committed to living well? Join Wellteam.me. We're ready for you. We're here for you. All you need to do is start.
