Here's a guide on how to drink water effectively and the dos and don'ts to keep in mind. Firstly, our body is predominantly made up of water, emphasizing the importance of staying hydrated. Aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, but adjust based on your activity level and climate. Avoid eating anything for 15-20 mins after drinking water. Go for toilet, relieve yourself and get your metabolism super charged. Dos: Drink water first thing in the morning to kickstart your metabolism. Sip water throughout the day rather than chugging it all at once. Infuse your water with fruits or herbs for added flavor and nutrients. Carry a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated on the go. Don'ts: Avoid sugary drinks that can dehydrate you. Don't wait until you're thirsty; stay ahead of dehydration. Limit caffeine and alcohol intake, as they can contribute to dehydration.
