CAT - Collaborate, Automate, and Track. A lateral Automation approach that enabled Moolya to establish the end-end product tracking for India’s top fashion #ecommerce platform - Myntra. With 75 million new app users, over 20 lakh styles, and 6000 brands, #Myntra came to Moolya with a unique challenge in tracking products from its vast pool of vendors. For any E-commerce platform, effective tracking is vital. It involves collecting, analyzing, and using data from online customer activities to understand consumer behaviors, preferences, and brand interactions. Inadequate tracking can lead to suboptimal optimization, impacting the overall user journey and ultimately resulting in customer churn. So, how did Moolya enable the CAT framework to tackle this challenge? Collaboration: Moolyans partnered with the internal tech team to standardize coding practices across teams, streamlining processes and significantly boosting efficiency. Automation: Moolya developed a robust framework to automate the addition of tracking links for vendor products, ensuring accuracy and comprehensive tracking. Tracking: The automation framework not only reduced the time and resources needed but also improved the platform’s maintainability and scalability. Streamlining operations through testing in e-commerce requires meticulous planning, especially given the myriad user flows and scenarios. A contextual understanding of the platform is crucial. While #automation might seem like the obvious solution, knowing what to automate and when is essential, as maintaining automation is an extensive process and is often overlooked.
