I know that with being prior service or active duty at the time it really helped me understand and learn what spouses and soldiers are going thru. The terminology, uniforms, tasks, and time away from your family. Experiencing this provides you with a grit, a self perseverance, the tenacity of no other.
When asked if we are willing to relocate and say no, it's not because we aren't willing to relocate, it's that we can't relocate due to where our spouse is stationed.

ARMY AS A CAREER OPTION
The decision to pursue a career in the army holds profound significance for any country. The valor, dedication, and sacrifice of those who choose this path contribute immeasurably to safeguarding the nation's security and upholding its values.
Embarking on an army career demands courage beyond measure, as it entails a willingness to face adversity head-on. The commitment to protect and serve often involves confronting life-threatening situations, where the ultimate sacrifice may be required. While this reality cannot be understated, the rewards of an army career transcend mortality.
Soldiers, through their selfless dedication, forge an unbreakable bond with their nation. Their bravery echoes through history, leaving an indelible mark of honor and respect. Their sacrifice embodies the essence of heroism, inspiring generations and standing as a testament to unwavering commitment.
Even in the face of peril, the rewards of an army career endure beyond one's mortal existence. The legacy of valor persists, shining as a beacon of hope and resilience. The bravery and sacrifices of these individuals resonate across time, immortalizing their contributions to the nation's fabric.
In essence, an army career epitomizes the epitaph: 'Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.' It symbolizes an unwavering dedication to a cause larger than oneself, leaving behind a legacy that transcends mortality and enriches the very essence of a nation.

This is an excellent scene and use of the life imitating art and art imitating life narrative given the state of current military affairs with the public, recruitment decline, and the way our war veterans are treated in the long term. Here, you have a clone vet from the 501st legion (blue) which was led by Anakin Skywalker along with Obiwan Kenobi's legion since both worked/fought collectively throughout a majority of the clone war. In this scene, it's very probable that this 501st clone recognized Kenobi. Kenobi could have been scared if recognized if the clone's inhibitor chip still processed Order 66, but the way the clones were treated after the war, Kenobi had little to worry. Their replacement with inferior imperial troops as well as the destruction of Kamino, their home world, by the Empire, and the role they unknowingly played in destroying the Jedi/Republic order, Kenobi had no reason to worry. However, the narrative and moral of this scene is not only be mindful of how we treat our vets because they may be needed again, but also be mindful of the people we consider using and throwing away like there's an endless amount of resources. It may seem like that way at times, but only in times of intense prosperity does that culture of abundance creates complacency and eroding behaviors. Everyone has value even if their histories or backgrounds aren't perfect or ideal or packaged to make processes easier. How we tackle people is the way we tackle life and the many problems that come along our way. 🤔🤔🤔
