😅 Imagine stepping into an elevator decked out in a full Hawaiian outfit, only to meet the surprised faces of hotel guests when you respond that you’re there for a tax conference. Yes, tax pros know how to blend serious work with a dash of fun! This year’s Institute for Professionals in Taxation Annual Conference, themed “Sun, Sail, SALT,” saw us swapping our suits for tropical outfits 🌺🏝️. As always, the event was a treasure trove of knowledge, packed with top-notch educational sessions across various SALT disciplines. As Chair of the annual conference State Income Tax Track, I had the privilege of collaborating with an incredible team to develop sessions that were both enlightening and engaging.
