Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)’s Post

After awarding 6,000 Girlguides with a civil engineering badge, we're expanding the programme! A successful pilot in Northern Ireland, Wales, London and the south-east of England means you'll now get a chance to earn the badge in three new regions: 👉 Scotland 👉 North-east England 👉 North-west England The activity pack has also been updated, featuring a new task where they'll balance cost, environmental impact, and passenger satisfaction to create innovative railway solutions. Ada Nwadigo, 2024’s ICE STEM Ambassador of the year, introduces the project, citing that transport is the” lifeline of our society”. Click the link in comments to learn more. Great initiatives guys! Any notes on how we plan to retain them once they’re in? Harassment prevention, allyship, investment, fair pay etc.
