🌱📅 As we gear up for a significant week in Italy, starting tomorrow, I'm excited to reflect on the upcoming events and their potential impact on the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and the agricultural sector. We are set to attend several key gatherings, including the "Innovazione e sostenibilità per il futuro dell'agricoltura italiana", on March 19th and the Nova Siri Genetics Open Day on March 21st. These events are not just meetings but a confluence of ideas and innovations. They represent a vital platform for discussing the future of agriculture, especially regarding new plant varieties and sustainable farming techniques. It's a chance to engage with industry leaders, including Francesco Mattina, the President of CPVO, and other experts who drive our sector forward. 🤝🌍 These days will be filled with opportunities to learn, network, and share insights on vital topics, including the importance of plant variety rights in the #EU's economic system and the role of CPVO in fostering agricultural innovation. I anticipate these discussions will be enlightening and instrumental in shaping our approaches to sustainable agriculture. As we embark on this journey, I look forward to sharing updates and insights from these events. Stay tuned for a blend of innovation, collaboration, and sustainable practices straight from the heart of Italy's agricultural community. 👁🗨💬 Follow along for live updates and let's explore together how these events can catalyze positive changes and growth in the agricultural sector globally. #Agriculture #Innovation #Sustainability #CPVO #Italy #UpcomingEvents

One Health | Nutrition | Agroecology | Food Sovereignty | Sustainable Food system | Youth Inclusion |
Is it possible to ensure an ethical and responsible approach to digitalization and traceability that supports agroecological farmer cooperatives? That is the title of my presentation for the panel "Agroecological Transitions Towards Sustainable Food Systems* during the Shaping Gastronomy - Regenerating Food Systems and Society conference hosted by the International Gastronomic Society at the Università di Scienze Gastronomiche from the 26th to the 28th of September. 🗓️ You can find more details about the event here: https://lnkd.in/dhuTgZN5 I will present the ATTESTED project, which focuses on two key agroecological principles: 🔹 Participation (Principle 13) 🔹 Co-creation of Knowledge (Principle 8) Throughout the project, we work hand-in-hand with supply chain actors, including farmers who have been actively involved since the proposal phase. They are not just beneficiaries—they are core members of our consortium, collaborating with research institutes and pilot implementations. If you're attending the conference, please join us! I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas. 🙌 #Agroecology #SustainableFoodSystems #Traceability #Digitalization #ATTESTED #DRG4Food Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL Valdibella cooperativa agricola CommonsLab Paola Migliorini Chiara Flora Bassignana
