Yes, there are stupid questions (I ask them all the time). Strategic decision-making is about asking smarter questions. Authors of HBR article pose 5 categories of questions to drive strategic decision-making: 1. Investigative: What's known? 2. Speculative: What if? 3. Productive: Now what? 4.
