Honored and delighted to be joining fellow esteemed speakers in Dec at the Building Bridges annual summit! My focus will be on financial inclusion, covering topics that are likely top of mind for many - such as reaching the unbanked and uninsured with fairly priced products - but also including emerging areas of interest, such as sharing equity ownership in larger companies and projects with workers and communities. There are many interconnected and complex topics to cover. For instance: 🏦 What are the various roles that banks, insurers, and capital markets actors can play in progressing financial inclusion equitably - for both small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individuals? 💴 💵 💶 💷 What are opportunities across debt, equity, and products in between, and how can we elevate building broad-based wealth for the majority of people across geographies - both within and across countries? 👨🔧 👩🔧 For capital markets, how can we advance thinking about the value of human and social capital, and how can that change incentives to evolve the allocation, structuring, and pricing of capital for those who have disproportionately benefitted less from our current financial systems? ⚙ How might we think about emerging systemic and systematic risks relating to inequality? How might one integrate these risks into financial analysis in ways that can alter the meaning of risk-adjusted returns? Looking forward to these deep discussions, and thanks to Building Bridges for your leadership!

Community impact is the backbone of a sustainable future. When communities unite, sharing resources, knowledge, and passion for a better world, amazing things happen. Imagine neighborhoods where residents collaborate to reduce waste, establish community gardens, and support local businesses. Picture towns powered by renewable energy sources, thanks to collective investment and shared expertise. Envision cities where everyone has access to clean water and green spaces, a result of dedicated community efforts. These are not just dreams, but achievable realities when communities come together for a common purpose. Let's continue to champion community-led initiatives that empower individuals, foster sustainable practices, and create a lasting impact on the planet. 🌱 #sustainability #communityimpact #sustainablefuture #collaboration #resourcesharing #sustainablepractices #globalgoals
