Join us in welcoming Christopher Schayer to Integer as a Robotics System Engineer! Chris joins our team working out of our #BatonRouge office on the Louisiana State University Campus. He will focus on extending our current simulation stack for #maritime vessels and developing tools to facilitate #MachineLearning. He’s working closely with two LSU teams focused on machine learning led by Dr. Shuangqing Wei.  Chris joins us from L3Harris where he worked as a software engineer for the last six years, two of which were focused on #MaritimeAutonomy. His experience includes developing modular platform components and supporting integration of software on maritime vessels. A native of Louisiana, Chris is happy to remain in his home state and even more pleased to be on home turf working on the campus of his alma mater. He received a bachelor’s degree in #ComputerScience with a concentration in #SoftwareEngineering from the LSU College of Engineering.    “I chose to work at Integer because it gave me the opportunity to pursue maritime autonomy in a researched focused environment,” said Chris. “My favorite part of working at Integer is the feeling of family and camaraderie between coworkers.
