📣 We are pleased to announce the success of our recent research project led by Markéta Tesařová (Kaiser). In collaboration with scientists from The University of British Columbia, she created a 3D atlas of the human fetal skull cartilage in the middle trimester. 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗼, one of the 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 in the neurobehavioral analysis and advocate for ethical and transparent 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. Restivo is the head of Neuro-Behavioral Analysis Unit (NeuroBAU) at the University of Lausanne, where the Minimal Metadata Set (MNMS) project is running. 𝗠𝗡𝗠𝗦 is an approach supporting an improved and interoperable representation of the raw data already at the source (i.e. at the level of raw data of the single animal). This aims to improve the reproducibility, accessibility and interoperability of nonclinical in-vivo data creating new more ethical and efficient 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀. New article 💡 Access for #free 👉 https://lnkd.in/dkP8ANgF "Guidance of Osteoblast Migration Using Femtosecond Laser-Induced Hierarchical Structures" The results showed that cells directly seeded onto the non-structured or laser-structured areas covered the surface nearly completely and eventually aligned along the ripple direction for the laser-structured areas. In contrast, for cell-seeding beside the samples, the laser-structured areas remain nearly cell-free while the non-structured areas were covered with cells in a similar non-oriented manner as for direct cell-seeding.
