Integrated Design Cubed | IDCUBED’s Post

It only took 7 days to set the first half of the cross laminated timber (CLT) modules for Integrated Design Cubed | IDCUBED’s workforce housing building in Montana. This project is the first large-scale CLT building in North America. To prepare for this, the foundations were built with precision - perfectly level and to exact dimensions. The modules arrived on site with finishes and fixtures pre-installed. We exposed the CLT on most walls, providing for a beautiful and durable natural finish.   Architect: Peter Rose + Partners | NKBAK On-site Work and Building Assembly: Highline Partners Module Fabrication: Kalesnikoff   Here is a video from the first days of the install! #MassTimber #ModularConstruction #WoodConstruction #TimberConstruction #ModularBuilding #ModularHousing #Construction #SustainableHousing #Sustainability #GreenBuilding #SustainableConstruction #AffordableHousing #Innovation #BuildingInnovation #crosslam #cltbuildings #Architecture #climatechange #carbonneutrality #crosslaminatedtimber #masstimberbuildings #sustainableforestry #offsiteconstruction #embodidedcarbon #thefutureiswood #IDCubed #IntegratedDesignCubed #Roseandpartners #NKBAK #JustinCook #ChristianKaufmann #KaufmannBausysteme

Next time, we can help with reducing the crane costs associated with these projects. No need to offload and reload from laydown yard with a crane.
