The most inspiring, insightful, and realistic discussion that I have ever listened to on Generative AI was between Prof Yejin Choi and Bill Gates Professor starts by saying that generative AI gives better results when you provide prompts that showcase more reasoning, capability, and motivation for AI, resulting in better outcomes. The discussion cover the major aspects of human intelligence vs. generative AI, discussing the pros and cons of each. Also, they shared their wishful goal of Gene AI that it should cohesively work for a better society in the future. Further Bill Gates also explains the potential challenges of generative AI that he intends to use to complement medical doctors for underprivileged people as part of the Gates Foundation's activities. and also covered many other important aspects that is eye opener for academia and industry veteran #openai #ai #data #sustainability #trustworthyai

It was a pleasure attending the Canterbury Tech event at Christchurch City Council on Data and AI for the meat industry. It focused on a purely New Zealand-based, personalized use case. It was great to meet many IT professionals and industry players from different domains to share and learn. Thanks to Canterbury Tech and Matt Scott for the insights!

Raksha Bandhan-Universal Brotherhood and Oneness: The Key to Sustainable Global Peace In alignment with the timeless principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the belief that the whole world is one family—Christchurch celebrates Raksha Bandhan as a powerful reminder of the importance of brotherhood among the diverse communities living here. Traditionally, Raksha Bandhan is a celebration between brothers and sisters, symbolizing protection and prayers for one another's well-being. However, its essence goes beyond family ties; it is a festival that fosters unity, brotherhood, and harmony within society at large. By celebrating Raksha Bandhan across different sections of society and among various communities, we can help build a more harmonious and connected world. Let us all support and participate in these initiatives that promote unity, peace, and oneness in whatever way we can.

It was a great honor to organize a Raksha Bandhan workshop for children in Christchurch. New Zealand ; to foster creativity Creativity and knowledge are the cornerstones of progress, especially for the younger generation who will shape our future society. However, collective efforts toward fostering creativity and knowledge have a far greater impact than individual endeavors alone. What do you think? Together, we can create a better, more inspired community. #culture #newzealand #rakshabandhan

It was a joy to spend time with my childhood friend, Mr kishan Pradhan in Bengaluru before heading back to New Zealand. Coming from the small village of Charaikhola in Kokrajhar, Assam, Kishan's journey is truly inspiring. He graduated from IIT Bombay with a degree in electronics and now holds a leadership role at a global electronic giant like Samsung or Intel. His hard work, focus, and humility have driven his success despite numerous challenges. We had a meaningful discussion about various societal aspects, including Indian culture, industry trends, and social changes among the youth in India. Kishan shared that the most rewarding moments for him were during his struggle periods in both academics and professional life. Thank you, @Kishan, for your time and insights! -#leadership #culture

Patanjali Yoga says yoga is for the stillness of mind Celebrating Yoga Day in Christchurch, New Zealand Most of us do yoga at home, but practicing with the community gives a different sense of satisfaction and joy. I recently started practicing Isha Yoga and have greatly benefited from it. Needless to say, yoga has enormous benefits for our physical body, mind, and soul. Practice is important; otherwise, the knowledge is of no use. Let’s practice our ancient yoga for our personal growth and for the benefit of our community. #yoga #newzealand #christchurch Christchurch City Council Naam Yoga Aotearoa New Zealand
