Art Break in Hattingen Celebrating a special birthday or company anniversary always inspires us to do something extraordinary. To delight Hendrik Siegeln, we invited Sebastian Jung and his art delivery service to Hattingen last week. Hidden inside Sebastian's MUSEUM EXPRESS backpack was an exhibition by Karl Toomey from London, delivering surprising moments to us all. A big thank you for this creative boost! What has been your most memorable artistic experience in a business context? Feel free to share in the comments!

Thank you very much, Madame Professor Emeritus Amanda Kirby! Wabi-Sabi is a truly magnificent concept. It's about appreciating simplicity, impermanence, and finding beauty in imperfection. It's a reminder to embrace the natural order of things and not try to control everything. I love how it encourages us to see beauty in irregularities and asymmetry. In a world that often values uniformity, it's refreshing to find value in what is unusual and unexpected. 😊🌸 However, there is a nuance in this part of the definition: "finding beauty in imperfection." But would it still be considered imperfection if the artist intentionally caused an error that caused them to lose some of their abilities? Indeed, when the artist provokes the circumstances of an error that seems to lead to failure, it can be perceived as a risk and a chance. However, against all expectations, the artist then succeeds in rehabilitating the experience, which elicits admiration from the audience. In this case, beauty could be the resilience in the face of probable failure. It's a fascinating perspective to consider the virtuosity of craftsmanship in any field. Thank you for sharing this reflection with me, Professor Amanda Kirby! 😊🎨

I invite you on a journey of transformation through the power of art ❤️✨ • Vibrational Essence: Every atom in our body is in a perpetual dance, vibrating at frequencies that are as real as the air we breathe. This scientific truth is the cornerstone of my art. • The Symphony of Life: Recognizing that we are vibrational beings, it becomes evident that our experiences, moods, and overall life quality are directly influenced by these vibrations, which are, in turn, shaped by our interactions, thoughts, and the media we consume. • Mastery Over Vibrations: The realization that we can consciously influence our vibrational state is empowering. By curating our inputs and nurturing positive vibrations, we elevate our existence. • Art as a Vibrational Tool: My creations are more than just visual experiences; they are vibrational tools designed to elevate your body and mind. Each piece is infused with frequencies of love, abundance, and harmony. • The Power of Contemplation: Engaging with my art aligns your personal vibrations with those of love and prosperity, simply through the act of viewing, allowing your brain to resonate with these higher frequencies. • A Collective Upliftment: The more my art permeates the world, the more we, as a collective, raise our vibrations. This universal upliftment is the key to fostering a better, more harmonious world. In this journey, my art serves as a beacon, guiding us towards a brighter, more vibrant existence. Thank you for joining me in this transformative journey.

Thank you for an interactive session, Prof. (Dr.) Rishi Kulshresth,LLD , about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are legal rights that provide creators protection for their inventions, designs, and artistic works. They are crucial for startups and businesses to safeguard their innovations and maintain a competitive edge. Here are the main types of IPR: 1️⃣ Patents: Protect inventions and processes that are new, non-obvious, and useful. 2️⃣ Trademarks: Protect brand names, logos, and symbols that distinguish goods or services. 3️⃣ Copyrights: Protect original works of authorship, such as literature, music, and software. 4️⃣ Trade Secrets: Protect confidential business information that provides a competitive advantage. 5️⃣ Industrial Designs: Protect the aesthetic aspects of products. I learnt more about IPR in the session, and this is very helpful me. Thank you once again sir.

Scientists are increasingly required to engage publicly as part of their scientific work. What needs to be done to meet this requirement? 🗯️ At the conference "Perspectives on Science Communication", Leibniz-Gemeinschaft scientists and communicators came together at #mfnberlin to reflect on the relevance and further development of various forms of interaction between science and society. The results will lead to recommendations for action that serve to further develop the communication offerings of the Leibniz institutes. 🤝 #science #sciencenews #scicomm #wisskomm #ScienceCommPerspectives
We had an intense and inspiring day at Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, discussing perspectives on science communication amongst researchers and communicators of the Leibniz Association and its guests! Three questions guided our discussions: ❓ What can we want? What are both desirable and realistic goals for the exchange between science and society? ❓ What do we need to do? What adjustments need to be made in order to achieve these goals for the exchange between science and society? ❓ Who needs to act? Who is needed to implement changes at the interface between science and society? Have a look at our slide show to get some fist impressions of the day! Preliminary answers to our guiding questions will be shared here in the coming weeks as well, so stay tuned! Thank you to all supporters, specifically to my colleague Jannis Glahe, many colleagues at the museum, our speakers, discussants, working group leaders, our graphic recorder, photographer, and, for sure, our donor at Leibniz Association and all the participants who made this possible! Leibniz Association, Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, Johannes Vogel, Sebastian Lentz, Dr Susanne Hecker, Stefanie Molthagen-Schnöring, Jan-Martin Wiarda, Christine Ahrend @Technische Universität Berlin, Roland Philippi @Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, Tim Urban, Angelina Tittmann, Johannes Graupner, Mhairi Stewart, Niklas Marzinek, Silke Voigt-Heucke, Julia Krohmer, Miriam Brandt, Mathilde Bessert-Nettelbeck, Sheree Domingo, Jannis Glahe, Lea Schmidtke, Susan Karlebowski, Carolin Glahe, Jakob Meyer, Korbinian Baur and many more! Request for Submissions: DC Creative Space Needs Survey The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) is assessing the most pressing space needs for DC's arts and humanities sector. This survey is a first step to resolving the creative space crisis in DC. CAH seeks responses from ALL interested arts and humanities entities including individuals, organizations (for-profit and non-profit), and unorganized entities. This can include painters, theatres, art service organizations, museums, filmmakers, art galleries, dancers, musicians, literacy groups, arts educators, bands, TV studios, installation artists, artist collectives, etc. Please feel free to share this link among your networks. This survey should take between 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Complete the survey here: https://lnkd.in/eqgyh7tH

Technology has always unlocked creativity, by freeing the artist from physical limitations of a given media. We saw the transformation from traditional painters and illustrators to digital artists, going from mouse to writing tablets to tablet screens, each new wave bringing more freedom to artists. In the motion picture space we went from chemical process and physical cutting of film to digital video and non-linear editing. AI diffusion models are unlocking the next major shift, allowing creators to go from idea to creation without the limitations of specific tools. With filmmaking in particular I think we will see an incredible new art form, where artists can create motion graphics in real time, effectively painting directly into “live action” sequences seamlessly. The days of rotoscoping and even what we thought of just a few years ago as CGI VFX are disappearing. The promise for this technology to enable visual storytelling experiences unlike anything we’ve ever seen before is unparalleled since the “talkies” first brought sound to motion pictures.
The Pulse Within by Vallée Duhamel had its premiere on Saturday at the Tribeca Festival as part of our Human Powered: AI Shorts program. In total, nine films were screened followed by a conversation exploring the relationship between human creativity and AI as a tool to tell stories. Thank you again to all participating filmmakers and attendees for the inspiring afternoon.

Administrative Assistant at Greenville LNG || GOD'S CHILD || Virtual Assistant | Canva and Postermywall Designer | Skilled in Task Management, Client Support | Helping Businesses Run Smoothly | AI Enthusiast,
You are more capable, more powerful, and more valuable than you think." This morning, I arrived at the office and started my usual routine—going straight to check my email. That’s when I came across a message from Ingressive For Good, and it included something that truly moved me: a Dove experiment video that I had never seen before. In this video, women were asked to describe themselves to an artist who couldn’t see them. Then, the same artist created another sketch based on how others described these women. The difference between the two was eye-opening. While the self-descriptions highlighted insecurities and flaws, the others’ descriptions emphasized beauty, strength, and positivity. The message was simple but profound: “You are more beautiful than you think.” Watching it for the first time today made me realize just how often we hold ourselves back. We fixate on our imperfections, doubting our abilities and feeling unworthy of the opportunities we desire. But just like in the video, the world often sees us in a much brighter light than we see ourselves. This message couldn’t have come at a better time. You are more capable, more powerful, and more valuable than you think. So, if you’re waiting until you feel “ready” or “perfect” to take that next step—don’t. You are already enough, and now is the time to go after your goals with confidence. If you haven’t seen the video yet, I encourage you to take a few minutes and watch it here. It’s a powerful reminder to trust in your strengths and step forward boldly. Thank you, Ingressive For Good, for sending this timely reminder!
